Worked great for me and a good price.
I bought this to tie down my pontoon boat during storms on Lake Powell than can be pretty intense. I suspect the rope is measured when it is under tension because I got 186 ft loose which could easily stretch to 200 ft under tension. It is plenty strong for what I need. When splicing, I needed to carefully tape the strands before I cut them and then every time I did a tuck, I re-twisted them and it worked fine. I have spliced very expensive nylon ropes and and they aren't much different from this rope. For nylon and other synthetics, I like a couple more tucks than for natural fiber rope. There is a lot of criticism of the thimble which is on the flimsy side but since I didn't need it anyway, it didn't matter to me. I liked the looks of the shrink wrap over the splice so I bought more yellow shrink tubing and put it over my splices. When shrinking the shrink wrap, I put it under tension with a come-along and two trees. When I did this, the original shrink wrap was a little loose and I heated it a little and it shrank a little more and was fine. If I needed more big rope, I would not hesitate to buy this again, especially since it was about half the price of what I could buy in town.

Don't use in extended sunlight
I used this for a safety line around my son's boat. While the other ropes that he has used as mooring lines have even more exposure to sunlight and look fine this one looks as if someone has been running coarse sand paper over it. Badly fraying.

Great rope
We had about 32 pine trees around the house we bought last year that needed to come down. We didn't want to pay the insane prices for that, so we bought this rope to help bring them down ourselves. It's fantastic rope. The metal loops at the end of the ropes didn't hold up very well, but otherwise this rope has been very useful. We bought three sections and each one is still going strong after all the work we've put them through.

Cheap and easy!
just to clarify.... it coils easily. I needed something to tie off to trees I was cutting in my back yard. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on rope that was only going to be used 3 or 4 times. I'm not going into the tree cutting business! This rope worked out great for my purposes. I may cut it in 1/2 for easier handling for future projects. It is also pretty heavy when coiled all together

Does not hold up well to UV.
Bought this 3/4" line 3 years ago for my boat for docklines here in Florida winters. Its only outside 6 months of each year and stored indoors during the summer . Have to replace it all due to sunlight UV deteriorating the line to the point it crumbles if you touch it. No longer safe after 18 months of actual outdoor use. I have other nylon lines that are over 10 years old and still going. 2 stars because it should last longer.
