Sony NP-FE1 InfoLithium E Series Rechargeable Battery for DSCT7 Digital Camera (Retail Packaging)

This battery was great to have with my camera around on trips. I had it as a spare and the amazing thing I still have it.

This battery is just like the one that came with my camera. Easy to use, works fairly well. Battery life isn't that great (only about 70 minutes or so) but it is rechargeable, which is nice. I bought an extra one just in case the battery dies while I'm using my camera. They are small batteries so it's easy to carry around. Wish my camera would take other batteries though.I've gone to physical stores to buy this and they don't seem to carry them anymore (got my camera in 2005; I guess that's considered old now). So buying them online seems to be the only choice. Shop around and you might be able to find a deal. The only problem is that apparently there are fake batteries around. The ones I bought were authentic though (as far as I can tell).

Go with Sony OEM, as replacements do not have the Info Lithium feature which allows the camera to know the charge status and battery life. As I have two DSC-T7 cameras and used these camera since they first came out, I've gone through several replacement batteries and they proved to be junk. Also, aftermarket chargers don't last as long as the OEM.Go with the OEM, pay a bit more, but you will not be sorry. Go with aftermarket, your camera may shutoff suddenly and you may miss the opportunity.

I needed the as a spare battery for my Sony Cybersht camera. These batteries have a short charge span, only an hour or so when shooting photos continually. This the need for a spare. This one works as expected.

Not too bad. Price should maybe lowered but overall happy with it. Haven't monitored the time length of it's life but I am assuming it is just as it would be , brand new. To be honest if you are going to purchase this battery then I would just go for the no name brand kit that includes the charger, plugs, car plug and a battery ! For nearly the same price...

My original battery that came with the camera lasted 6 years. So when I was shopping for a new one, I wanted a genuine SONY part even though it costs more and this seemed like the right one. However, the battery shipped to me was anything but good. It only lasted 5 min on a full recharge! I tried it twice and the second time wasn't any better. Even though the whole package is Sony all around, I did notice something odd. The original battery can slide in and out the camera slot easily but this one required a little pushing and pulling. It appears to be somewhat thicker from what I could tell. There's a good chance I simply got a look-alike. The plastic package wasn't completely sealed who knows what happened. I got my money fully refunded thanks to Amazon's hassle free return policy. Buyer be aware!

Could not find this at any shop at the malls - not even on Sony's website. Was told camera was no longer Sony no longer makes this battery. My camera is so easy to use. The new battery - easy to purchase & prompt delivery, brand new given my camera additional life!!
