Great product at a good price
We purchased both the Tagalog Flash Cards and the "More" Tagalog Flash Cards, and we loved them. The flash cards are a nice size and good quality. They also have a couple of phrases on the back to give examples of how to use each word. I thought this was great. The disc was good. The lady says all the words and even does some songs. The songs are kind of funny, since they are not at all production quality audio, the guitar is sounds like if it was any cheaper, it wouldn't hold tune. But that's great. Don't get me wrong. It's sweet. I think it was perfect and added to the sweet cultural feel. (Also, that coming from a snobby musician/recording nerd). The poster is exactly what you see on the front sides of the flash cards which was great for us, because it gave our kids another chance to pick out the words. It's a nice size. We took ours to Staples and had it laminated. It was $12 to do it, which was expensive to me but to be expected from Staples. Anyway, I am glad we did it, because it will last much longer this way. The paper wouldn't last long. I understand though. It's hard to fit in the packaging and keep it affordable if they tried to laminate it for you.

Good learning aid.
Its hard to find anything online to use for teaching my daughters our native dialect and this book helped. It came with a chart that you can point to to remind them what we are talking about. The flash cards is a good size so it gives you a good grip when you are holding it up . The material is of good quality, glossy too. The colors are vibrant and eye catching. Theres also a translation on the back and a couple sample conversations using the word.

Great for beginners
I like this set. The pictures are basic. There are sentences in tagalog and english on each card in addition to the vocabulary word. The words included are basic yet there are a lot of them - colors, counting, family members, body parts etc... There is a large colorful chart that can be hung up in a classroom or child's bedroom. Overall I am very pleased and will probably purchase the second set.

Very nice Tagalog language learning packs.
I purchased both sets: "Tagalog for Kids" and "More Tagalog for Kids".Very good language flash card set containing 64 cards with easy to identify images and the Tagalog on the front. Back of each card has the Tagalog and the English, along with two example sentences in both languages. The set contains a wall chart of all the cards, a booklet with some children's songs, and an audio CD with the Filipino pronunciations of the vocabulary and the songs from the booklet. I haven't found much use for the these, but the CD should be very helpful for those who need examples of the Filipino accent and pronunciation. I have read some complaints, here, that the CD audio is unclear and difficult to understand, but that is not my experience. The vocabulary is spoken slowly and clearly with a native Filipino accent that is neither to heavy to understand, nor to light to hear the accuracy of the accent and pronunciation. The set I received of "Tagalog for Kids" was somewhat incomplete. It contained two duplicate cards, while missing two others. I telephoned Tuttle (the publisher) and they graciously sent me the two missing cards to complete the set. The "More Tagalog" set I received was complete. The only problem I have with the card set is that the card stock could be a little heavier and more durable. The laminated paper stock that is used is easily mangled by my 7 month old daughter if she manages to grab the cards from my hands. For an older child, or even an adult, this should not be much of an issue.

Tutle Tagolog flash cards
Wonderful, simply wonderful! It has been about 2 weeks and my 14 month old daughter can now point to her head, ears, nose, eyes, mouth, hands, and feet from Tagolog commands. She loves the cars so much, she walks around with one or two pointing and giggling! This has been a great start to teaching my daughter the language of my family that I myself did not grow up speaking. I have already ordered the extension flash cards in the white and orange box and some of the books by this company!

Some inaccuracy.
For the most part it's good except for inaccuracy like the word Orange. The Tagalog word for it is Kahel not Oreyns. Smh.

Great learning material
I bought these for my coworker’s toddler because she’s teaching her Tagalog. So far she says that her daughter loves her new flash cards. They are larger than usual flash cards but that’s just fine I’ll for toddlers and small kids. I wish they had them in other Filipino dialects.

Worth the money
The flash cards are big though we are used to it now. The content is great and categorized. Wish it had the words in English as well.

very easy to follow...and much more than flash cards
I have learnt so much since buying these flash cards. The cards are very good but what is even better is that they come with a wall poster and best of all, it comes with a CD so that you can listen to how the words actually sound. I play the CD during long car journeys and have learnt so much using this method. Thanks for a great product.
