Used in the rear doors of a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. This fit the rear doors very well, with a speaker bracket that needed to be purchased separate. The installation was quick and easy, because I of course used proper screws (robinson) and not whatever cheap ones came in the bag. Lengths of ugly red/black wire came in the box too, but it was only 22 gauge and tossed it out. The covers too were thrown out because the pop out way too far but the doors cover them perfectly anyway. So, let's move on from me filling up my trash can to how I ended up giving these such a nice score. Well, you see, they sound excellent. The front speakers provide the bass and these provide a small listening experience in the rear cab, so yes while these speakers have no "omph" to them, it's not expected given the size. But, with the Boss speakers I installed in the front and these in the rear the overall listening experience is great. Also, these speakers weren't in the +$100 range, and they sound nice. Very quick "how do they sound" notes: - Bass, none. - Midrange, very nice, crisp, able to handle right up to the max volume levels with little to no distortion - Highs, moderately okay, at the higher volumes you can notice them struggle, but with minimal distortion. - Would Recommend.

Nice sound but not so good in quality...

The old Precision speakers had their life and I wanted to upgrade to something that can handle my abuse. I had to make the mounting hole slightly larger but once I hooked them up I was surprised of the sound quality once I found the sweet spot on the amp.

This is not a high end audio speaker. If you want a cost effective means to add sound to a work truck, this will probably meet your needs.
