Love it!
Great for adults or kids. The rainbow is a cute, visual representation of time remaining — more appealing than alarms that display in bright red.Battery operated and portable — but if you get distracted or lose things easily, I recommend giving it a permanent home.Sturdy (held up to several accidental drops). The alarm beeper is pleasant. You can push the button on top to stop the beeping. If you ignore the alarm, it eventually stops beeping, so individuals who get really immersed in a task might not notice time is expired, or forget that it beeped. Distracted or hyper-focused individuals might prefer a more aggressive, more persistent alarm.)Read directions carefully! It’s battery operated, so don’t try to turn past the amount of time you need. This timer does not need to be wound like some other timers.

Great kids timer
This is a great visual timer for kids and the noise level is soft and not obnoxious! Easy to use for kids and it’s a cute color.

Good for toddlers and making routines
Great to help kids gauge time and use for limited time on any electronics or prior to bed. Has been dropped numerous times and still works great, easy moving the dial, noise level is nice and loud captures my child’s attention and then they know it’s time for bed etc. great value for the cost

If you have more than one child you better by more.
This was the best gift for my grandson..A high functioning autistic .. He carries this everywhere. He can turn the dial which makes the rainbow bigger or smaller. It don't tick but has a short ring when the time is up. My grandson loves rainbows which is an added bonus. Ist not heavy but it's pretty sturdy..Im going to buy 2 more just because. Lol

Great for kids!
We got this to use as a visual timer for our toddler. It has helped so much with transitions and keeping track of tasks. Works well and seems to keep good time. Our child really likes the rainbow image to help them visualize time. I only wish the beeping sound was a little louder as it sometimes it goes unheard by all of us. The timer also stops beeping on its own, so it does NOT continue until someone turns it off. Which can be a pro or a con on some days. Has fallen many many times and is still going so seems pretty durable so far as well.

Busy mom must have
If you are a mom, BUY THIS. my children (10,7, and 3) can't judge time very well yet. And on crazy nights where we are out late with sports or anything else, I need to get them in bed as quickly as possible upon our return home. I set the two older ones 10 minute timers to time their showers, and set it on the shelf in the bathroom so they can see how much longer they have. And with the 3 year old, we race to clean up his toys before the rainbow goes bye bye. It's been an amazing tool to save this mommas sanity.

Time management for toddlers
Love that you can see the rainbow. I also like how it is an hour timer. You can set it to sound or no sound. Great for toddlers to learn time management.

Very Disappointed.
I wanted so badly to love this little timer. It's colorful, fun, and had the potential to help me manage the time blindness that comes with my ADHD by helping me see that visual representation of how much time is left for a given task. (That may sound trivial, but as someone who struggles with Executive Dysfunction, sometimes having to do that little mental calculation of "number of minutes minus percentage of task complete" is just abstract enough to not register with my brain). The first timer I ordered worked great at first. I had no issues with the silent mode, and decided a gentle auditory cue would be good since I often get sucked into tasks (hence why I'm externalizing my time management in the first place). It worked like a charm, was a good volume (especially paired with the flashing red light indicator), and turned off as soon as I hit the button on the top. However, about a week and a half later I noticed that it seemed like the timer would tick down really fast at the start of a 15-minute interval, then move unusually slow under the 10-minute mark (but take that with a grain of salt, as I never tested it against a different timer to make sure that it wasn't my own wonky sense of time). Then the little rainbow would get stuck at the 1-2 minute mark when the timer would go off (and yes, I read the instructions where it says you need to set it at 3+ minutes and then turn it back if you only want to set a timer for 1-2 minutes. I never set it for less than 5 minutes, so that wasn't the issue). Finally -and what caused me to return the first item for replacement- was that the timer started to beep non-stop when the time was up, and the only way I could get it to turn off was by removing the batteries. I set the timer several more times (even switching between alarm modes in case that might "reset" it somehow), but from that point on, the only way to shut off the beeping alarm was to remove the batteries.I requested a replacement and was shipped a new timer immediately. When the new timer arrived (brand new and in all the packaging, as you'd expect), it did the same thing with the non-stop beeping from the very first time I used it (and in this case was closer to a sad clicking sound than what I'd call a "beep"), so this time I'm returning it and will go with a different company next time.Very disappointing. I saw several sellers offering a near identical product to this one, but I didn't see any other purple ones and it was my favorite out of the options, so that's why I ordered from this seller.
