安いのに高画質です。逆光でもフレアが起こりにくいです。絞り解放で撮影すると、背景の点光源に口径食が見られますが気になるほどではないと思います。

G99に装着してMモードで試写しました。AFでピントは最初だけ合いますが、ピントの位置を変えようとしたら、フリーズ状態になります。 しかし絞り優先モード等にしたらAFは正常に機能します。

もっと良いボディーを使用すれば、、更にちゃんと写ると思います。 入門機を使用。GX7MK2とE-M10 Mark IIしか手元に無くて・・ きっちり単焦点してると思います。被写体が浮かび上がります。 AF速度は普通です、特に快速とは言えない。 最初のポートレートレンズとしては練習に最適。とても安い・・ そして軽いです、疲れません。 子供さんの大切な写真は、、これで大丈夫かと思われます。 スマホで撮影など・・虐待に等しいです。やめましょうw

初孫が生まれて、ついに私もおじいさんの仲間入りです。子供らが小さかった頃には手にすることが出来なかった。80mm中望遠レンズ(35mm換算)を手にしました。 50mmを標準と言うけど、見たいものに注目してみた時の意識する視野は、このレンズで得られる画角にピッタリです。 80mmは、ポートレートによく利用される画角です。 これがあれば、孫の可愛い寝顔を印象的に写せます。 絞り開放で、撮影すれば、背景や全景は美しくボケて見たい物が浮き上がります。 まるで魔法のレンズ。写真の腕が上がった様な気持ちにさせてくれるレンズです。 上級者向けのSUMMILUX同じ焦点距離が欲しいけど、お父さんの小遣いではちょっと…と言う貴方に！ 初めての単焦点レンズにおすすめします。

I purchased this lens primarily for portrait work but found it works great as a general purpose all-around kind of lens. It works great for me in a wide range of situations except things like landscapes. I use my 20mm for that. I enjoy the faster AF with this lens versus the lumix 20mm. Combined with the photo quality and speed that this lens offers, I think it is well worth the $$.

Absolutely amazing lens. Very nice bokeh and super crisp at F 3.5-4. It is extremely light and at an 85mm equivalent and for the price u jist cant do much better. Everyone who owns a micro 4/3 needs this is their kit. You are at a serious disadvantage of you dont own this focal length. Do not get the slightly cheaper olympus version if you are using a lumix camera. The build-quality and lumix compatibility of this one is worth the extra $100 or so. Go and buy this now.

Just got this lens, only took a couple of shots and i would say i was impressed. This one is a keeper..Will update once i get back from my travel.

This lens gives you the equivalent of an 85mm field of view, which makes it great for portraits or short tele shots. The aperture is fairly wide at 1.7, which allows you just a little bokeh. Built in stabilization makes the image nice and still. This lens weighs very little and is easy to carry around a prime lens when you dont want to compromise image quality. It could be a faster aperture, but then it would be bigger, heavier, more expensive and a different price point, so for what this lens is - it works very well.

Amazing lens. I was considering 42.5 1.2 but the 1.7 version balances better on my GX7. Together GX7 and 42.5 1.7 create magic. Wonderful combination. Small, light and has Image Stabilization. The price of $279 for import version is same as Olympus 45 1.8. Panny is better than Olympus, sharper, closer MFD, why would anyone buy the Olympus these days??? Made in Japan too.
