I recently got the DJI Mini 4K and I’m honestly impressed with how much performance they packed into such a small and lightweight drone. This is my first drone, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way I cared about most: camera resolution, speed, and especially its portability thanks to the ultra-light weight and compact size. First off, the camera is fantastic for a drone in this price range. It shoots crisp 4K UHD video at 30fps with a 3-axis gimbal that keeps everything super smooth and stable, even when there’s a bit of wind. The colors are vibrant, details are sharp, and it handles sunsets, landscapes, and everyday scenes beautifully. You also get 12MP photos and up to 4x digital zoom. For travel vlogs, family trips, or just capturing beautiful aerial views, the footage looks professional without any complicated setup. I also love the speed and flight performance. In Sport mode, it moves quickly and responsively (up to about 36 mph / 57 km/h max), making it fun to fly while still feeling controllable. The Level 5 wind resistance keeps it steady in breezy conditions, and the 10km video transmission gives you plenty of range to explore. Flight time is up to 31 minutes per battery, which is more than enough for most sessions (real-world is usually 25-28 minutes depending on conditions). But what I love the most is the weight and size. At just 246g (under 249g), it’s incredibly portable — it folds up small enough to fit in a backpack or even a jacket pocket. This means no FAA registration or Remote ID required for recreational flying in the US, which is a huge plus. Whether I’m hiking, traveling, or just heading to the park, I can take it anywhere without hassle. The foldable design is clever and the build quality feels solid. The DJI Fly app is beginner-friendly with helpful tutorials, QuickShots for cinematic clips, and easy Return-to-Home safety features. It’s perfect if you’re starting out but still want high-quality results. A couple of small notes: there’s no obstacle avoidance (so you need to fly carefully), and battery life is advertised at 31 minutes but expect a bit less in real use. Overall though, these are minor for what you get at this price. Great drone. Amazing for beginners. No complaints after a month of use. Definitely recommend. Pictures turned out great. Video is very good. I do wish I could shoot 4k 60 fps instead of the capped 30 fps, but it is not a big tradeoff, especially with the price you will pay for something like the mini 3 or something higher up the line. The drone is very stable especially during calm days, however if theres some wind, it can be hard to take super smooth video, although very possible within 10-15 mph. This drone also has a few entry level features that are cool like panorama options and other quick shots. I do recommend getting at least the 2 battery combo (what I got) since it is not as expensive as the fly more combo (at that point just get a mini 3), but you still get about 40 mins combined battery life (don’t trust DJI’s 31 min/ battery claim) as well as a carry case with is actually pretty nice quality. Good drone, good value, loads of fun.

This is my very first drone, and honestly, I’m blown away by how much tech is packed into something so small. The DJI Mini 4K makes a great first impression right out of the box—setup is quick, the app walks you through all the basics, and takeoff/landing is almost effortless thanks to the automated controls. Once you’re in the air, it’s clear DJI has designed this to be beginner-friendly, but there’s still quite a learning curve. Flying around casually is pretty easy, but if you’re trying to avoid every branch or wire while keeping your camera framed just right, that’s another story. I’ve clipped a few tree branches already (oops) but the drone has been surprisingly resilient. The pre-programmed flight patterns are handy for getting smooth shots without much effort though there aren’t many to choose from, and I wish there was a way to add more. A follow-me mode and obstacle avoidance would have made this an even stronger choice for newcomers like me. Probably DJI Neo would have been a better choice but I wanted the remote-control. Battery life is about 20 minutes, which feels fair for something in this size/price range. The remote is solid and comfortable to use, and the in-app video editor was an unexpected bonus. It’s actually good enough to polish clips right after a flight. The one-tap edit is very intelligent, but fast and efficient for simple videos. All in all, the DJI Mini 4K is fun, impressive, and a great value for the money. It’s not a perfect “point-and-fly” solution for total beginners, but if you’re willing to practice a little, it’s an exciting entry into the drone world. Just as described!! Well packaged and delivered really fast!! I did a quick flight just to check functionality. Works perfectly and camera quality is impressive! The app is easy to use!

Excellent camera and video, Affordable and easy to operate. Be careful and purchase a warranty if you have obstacles while flying. Buy extra batteries

This is a superior drone. Super stable, crystal clear images. Classed as a "beginner" level unit but only because it is easy to use. It performs far above the level that implied by beginner.

Initially was in love with this model. Flew great, very responsive, good battery life. I was super happy until the 3rd flight. It was a very calm day, low wind, and I took the drone up to about 600 ft and maybe 1000 ft across a large field when it literally just spazzed out of control. Started flying is tight circles and even when pressing the return to home and altitude down, it just kept going up and up. Must have been 800 ft high when the spinning got worse and it start to move horizontally across the sky. It ended up crashing more than a mile away in someone's backyard. When I was finally able to find it, the camera and gimbal were just gone, the battery was missing and two of the arms were broken. I have video of the flight up and until midway though the crash when it just went dark. It was spinning and spinning and then dark. I am not sure if it hit some sort of signal blocker or what, but it was not anything that I did. Of course my wife just decided to login to our amazon account without me knowing and submitted the broken one as a return as it was within 30 days. She did this instead of buying the insurance. It was quite frustrating, which lead me to buy another one just to show her who's boss (LOL). Now I have a new one and have yet to even try flying it as I'm concerned it could happen again. Pretty sure Amazon wont issue the refund and I will be out another 300 bucks. If I had known my wife was going to do that, I would have told her not to so I could at least keep the extra battery, control and carrying case. Now they are all en route to Amazon and I bet I never see them again. Check out the video.

Ho acquistato il DJI Mini 4K come primo drone e ne sono davvero soddisfatto. È molto leggero (sotto i 250g), quindi non serve patentino per volare in molte situazioni. La qualità video in 4K a 30fps è davvero buona, le immagini sono nitide e stabili grazie al gimbal a 3 assi. 🔹 Facilissimo da usare, anche per chi è alle prime armi. Il decollo e l’atterraggio automatici funzionano alla perfezione e il drone si mantiene stabile in volo. 🔹 Ottima autonomia: circa 25-30 minuti reali, ovviamente dipende dal vento e dall’uso. 🔹 Compatto e trasportabile ovunque, ideale per i viaggi. Unica pecca: non ha sensori anticollisione, quindi serve un po’ di attenzione soprattutto in spazi stretti. E manca il tracciamento automatico dei soggetti, ma a questo prezzo non si può chiedere di più. 🎥 In sintesi: perfetto per chi vuole iniziare a fare video e foto con un drone senza spendere troppo. Lo ricomprerei subito.

What an awesome difference using a DJI compared to a couple of cheaper generic drones I’ve crashed in the last couple of years! I was admittedly nervous taking the DJI Mini 4K for a test flight fearing the worse, but the controls and ease of flying this was outstanding! I would suggest you watch a handful of YouTube videos on the DJI Mini 4K to understand the basics so you’ll know what to expect. This is an excellent drone and the camera and video quality is amazing! Buy it! You won’t be disappointed!

Eine Drohne mövmchte doch jeder Junge/Mann haben. Hiermit bekommt man viel für sein Geld. Die DJI Mini 4K ist kein Spielzeug. Sie geliebt souverän in Höhen von über 100m und hält dort auch die Position. Dank der stabilen HD Bildübertragung verliert man sie nie aus den Augen. Sogar bei guten Windböhen fliegt sie sehr stabil. Die Kamera ist sehr gut und hochauflösend. Die Bilder und Videos wirken wie von Profis. Sehr scharf, detail- und Kontrastreich. Das Steuern sollte man vor den ersten Projekten üben. Immer vorher informieren, ob aktuell ein Kompetenznachweis (Drohnenführerschein) etc. erforderlich ist.

Ce drone est un magnifique outil de prises de vues et de tournage de films. Il se contrôle à la perfection et sa stabilisation est impressionnante tant en intérieur qu'en extérieur. Le contrôle visuel par smartphone est remarquable. C'est une véritable extension de l'appareil photo et de la caméra du smartphone. Pour le confort d'utilisation, il est utile de mettre le smartphone sur le mode avion.
