desertcart.co.jp: Batman: Hush : Loeb, Jeph, Lee, Jim: Foreign Language Books Review: I am a big collector of Omnibus and Trade Paperback comics. I was curious about the new smaller budget format from DC, so grabbed Hush to fill a gap in my collection. The quality of the book itself and content within, cant be beaten for its RRP. Nice to see DC finally following the Manga model to make American comics more accessible. These should be available in every store that sells books and ever green. The pros, it very much goes back to the way they made the old Vertigo paperbacks, a cheaper/lighter and grittier paper quality, which I personally really like. The cons, when you scale down artwork and especially text that was intended to be twice the size, it can make the legibility very difficult. It may just be for the Hush title, but Batman's speech bubbles for example were insanely small and hard to read. I think DC may overlooked this issue.
