plz explain light system...type, range, color, source, etc

All those things are internal to the machine and probably proprietary. Unlike usual refractometers, this simply reads RI on a small screen, digitally, to three decimal places. Turn machine on, place polished surface of gem on platform with hole in it (where light is emitted and read), cover with provided cover, read meter. I understand this is a "reflectometer" with algorithm to translate over to RI. Reads 1.000 to 3.000 RI, much better range than usual refractometers. Also connects to PC to give possible stones at measured RI, and can be further filtered by color, SG, and a few other parameters.

Has anyone used the usb interface with this? does it make identification of stones more accurate?

I've had it for a few months. IRONICALLY, I found out I wasted 9 hours testing 50 stones yesterday, only to find out today the the PRESIDIUM is off by quite a bit. Tomorrow I'm calling Amazon and demand my money back. I got a free manual one recently from someone, the kind you use drops with. It's remarkably accurate. Plus you can check birefrigence with it and a few other things. I loved the Presidium at first, but what good is it if (and I quote) you have to "send it back at your expense to the factory (in Hong Kong) to have it recalibrated. That's what I get for buying another piece of Chinese junk.

Can I use it to test round beads?

As long as it has a flat surface on 1 side of the stone to b tested..bc it can't roll around inside the testing unit..

Is possible use in raw gems?

I don't quite know what you mean. If "raw" you mean gemstones that are uncut, I think you can use it. The problem is that with cut or uncut gemstones, the machine is not very accurate. Sometimes it works perfect, and other times it's way off. It has a lot to do with the type of stone and a number of other things. So you CANNOT trust it. HOWEVER, if you use it along with a number of other tests, it's pretty handy. For example, suppose you tested a stone and it fell into the blue topaz range. If you tested the stone for specific gravity, and it looked like blue topaz, it's probably a blue topaz. But sometimes a stone will look like blue topaz, specific gravity says it's blue topaz, checking for the refractive index using the drops and it also says topaz, and then the Presidium will say its quartz. So you CANNOT trust it using it alone. For a QUICK test, it's OK if you already are pretty sure what the stone is.
