Suits my needs perfectly and is solid quality.
I work from from home 100% of the te time as a Lead Curriculum Designer for a tech support vendor. My home office setup was designed for productivity and includes 3 desktop PCs, a Mac Mini, a NAS and an echo dot. I use each on a daily basis. I also occasionally use my laptop, tablet and phone as welI and had recently moved from Florida to Texas. My office setup had to be changed a bit and now I only one pair of Bose Desktop Speakers. This Nobsound Little Bear MC104 works great to allow me to easily switch to whichever (audio) machine or peripheral that I need to with ease. I also leave the volume on my Bose Speakers on high and and use the volume controller on the MC104 because it is conveniently placed on my desktop. I've only had it for two days, so I cannot really speak to the longevity of the product just yet. However, but it was a simple setup and is working like s champ! If you have a use case like mine, go for it!

Nice little device but be cautious when purchasing your cables get quality!
I still need to test with other cables of better quality, but I used this to monitor 4 separate recording decks (Kipro, Pix-E, Shogun, PC) from the headphone jack while using my main headphones as a reference. I don't know if I bought the wrong type of 1/8 to 1/8 cables or the quality was so bad in these cables that I needed better manufacture but I only got enough sound out of the box to tell there was signal and it was very low quality compared to the actual recording (Records were fine) I am hoping my cables were just not good quality because this little Bear is such a great tool to use on show site. I will update after I find the issue just use good quality 1/8-1/8 cables.

Great Mini Controller
First to address the buzzing, I have not experienced any buzzing using stereo in and stereo out. Have not tested surround, or even if this controller passes surround. They included a note which says they fixed the buzzing, from what I can tell they did. The in and out switching functionality is untested for me, I only use it as a switch between two ins. For this it is perfect, I can use the volume knob to make sure it isn't too loud when switching, and it saves me from having to plug and unplug from different devices.

perfection
This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. Good quality, excellent clarity, looks good. Not milled from a solid block of unobtanium, but it's inexpensive and it works well. So far I have 2 sets of speakers and a headphone hooked up to my computer. No more switching plugs in and out in order to change output. Makes it easy to do side by side comparisons AND it's possible to make them all the same volume when I switch back and forth (thru their own volume controls). I set the volume to the desired headphone level then adjust the powered speakers to the same volume. Just needed to find a male to male 3.5 to connect to the computer. Luckily I had one. Good thing I didn't throw it away because I previously had no use for it.

**FAR** LESS than I expected
and even more updated review... this thing is really a **BAD** purchase. as i've used it over the last couple of weeks, i was beginning to think something was wrong with my computer sound. but just now i plugged my headphones directly into the computer and guess what the Nobsound Little Bear is the cause of the sound degradation. *DO* *NOT* *WASTE* *YOUR* *MONEY* *ON* *THIS* *THING*!!!!! updated review... well, to go along with other reviewers, the range in the volume control IS annoying. i've decided just to keep it turned up all the way and to adjust each component of what is plugged into the switch to be at an equal level. *BUT* even more annoying is something i've just discovered, devices plugged into adjacent sockets can create crosstalk to the adjacent channel that it's switched to. for example, the output from my TiVo is plugged into channel one and the output from my Macbook Pro is plugged into channel 2. i'd been watching/listening to the TiVo and decided to listen to music from the Macbook. when i turned the selector over to channel 2, i could still hear, faintly, the content from channel one. when i switched over to channel 3, that went away. these two things have caused me to give this gadget two less stars. Sorry Nobsound, you need to try harder. Pros: Build REALLY well. The connector jacks on it are really well soldered to the circuit board as are the selector switch and the volume control. I *REALLY* like the small size as it takes up very little space on my already crowded desktop, yet the size of the selector and volume knobs make it easy to use. (I'd advise using Velcro to make it stay in place.) Cons: Even tho the pictures plainly showed it's an open frame, not in an enclosure, I think I would have preferred it in a box instead. And, as other reviewers have commented, the range on the volume control isn't great. But honestly, that really doesn't bother me. I'm already *VERY* used to changing volume on the devices that are plugged into it.

Exactly what I needed! Works Perfect
Bought this so I could take the audio from my computer and connect it to 4 stereos so that I can easily switch between stereos to test music I am producing. Volume fader works perfect! Switching between the 4 channels is as easy as just turning the Knob. Each channel has a nice click (to the touch and sound) to it so that you don't skip over each desired channel. I also love the sturdy metal knobs and even tho the open design circuit was strange at first I like the retro feel to it. Also the mute button works as designed.

Good value
Past the chassis' maximum volume mark the knob continues rotating and there is a jump to full volume at the knob's stop. I do not know if that should be expected (per component tolerance), a design decision (for low-volume attenuation), or if is a quality-control issue.

Pricey -- but Works Well
The item was in a box and the box was in an Amazon shipping bag. However, I believe I received a Returned item since the box was tapped shut and the label was already torn with the new tape on it. The label reads: "Amazon Warehouse, Amazon Renewed, and Fulfilled by Amazon." Nowhere on the product description on the Amazon site to order does it mention that this would be a "Renewed" item. Even though it works well, I had concluded that I would be purchasing a NEW item. I don't know if this was a fault of Amazon or DoukAudio (the supplier) for this misrepresentation. Should it malfunction, it will be returned for a Refund.
