I need tongs that are good for frying tacos, need a good grip are they good for that? The ones I have just push the tacos and it’s hard to turn them

are these BPA free of harmful chemicals?

I can’t remember the answer to that. Anything that touches food is stainless steel. The grips are the only thing that aren’t stainless except for the ring at the end that locks them closed. I really like these and the fact that all I have to do is touch the ring at the bottom on the counter to open them.
