Thank you for inquiring about our safe. This model does not have a handle. We do have a slightly smaller model (CFW20201), that does have a handle.

What are the interior dimensions?

The interior dimensions are 5.4" H x 12.6" W x 9.2" D.

Why can you not store a firearm in this safe?

If your trying to protect a weapon during a fire/flood event, this safe will work. But if its safe storage from other humans (big and small), this is not that secured. Better to get a gun safe.
