I recently purchased a used 2015 MacBook Pro and wanted to keep it in good shape. I have a similar cover on my wife's MacBook Air. I love the fact it came with the keyboard cover. Installation was almost a snap, literally! I say almost because it took me a minute to figure out how to attach the bottom cover so it wouldn't fall off. Orient the bottom cover so the indent in the lip matches the groove where you would open the screen up. Slide the cover under and hook it to the back of the MacBook first. Then lower into the cover and snap the sides on. Viola! The top cover is just as simple! For their simplicity they are actually quite durable to every day use. Well worth the price, which was really good! Would recommend this to anyone with a MacBook!

My previous five year old shell for my 2015 Macbook Pro (15") finally broke so I decided to get another shell. Instead of purchasing the same one as before, I opted to get IBENZER instead. It had a lot of reviews - mostly positive so I figured after many years it would be a safe alternative to what I purchased before (and about $3 cheaper). Upon initial install - everything connected just fine - it's a plastic shell that goes around my Macbook Pro with a few clips that snap into place. It was only when I went to open my Mac that I heard a slight "click" sound. Upon further inspection I noticed that the two clips on the bottom plate that attach into the fan outlet were sticking out just enough to run against the screen hinge to 'pop' when it was opening. This was DEFINITELY not something that my previous shell did not do. I inspected my old (broken) bottom plate and noticed those two clips seemed to be a little smaller than the IBENZER ones. To confirm that this was something new, I put back on my old bottom plate and sure enough, no 'popping' sound from the clips against the hinge. I figured I could make a slight adjustment to the clips rather than bothering with a return. I took some sandpaper and about 10 minutes of careful sanding the clips now do not rub against the hinge. While I was able to do this myself, I figured I would write this review so future buyers are aware of the problem and a potential solution (if they don't mind spending a few minutes with some sandpaper). I would think this would've been resolved for a Macbook Pro model that is 8+ years old, thus rating the product at 2/5 stars.

I just now put the lower part of the cover onto my laptop so I can not comment on the durability. I ordered a cover set from a different seller in February of this year. By July, it needed to be replaced, so I made sure that I did not order from that same seller. I am only going to use the lower cover for now since the previous top is still good. Right away, I could feel (as my forearms rested on the edge of the laptop) that this cover is much better than the one it is replacing. This one feels smooth along the edges, like it just fits better. The previous one was always poking and scratching my forearms. I would love to be able to order just a lower cover that I could save to use, later, with the upper cover that I will put away for now.
