I’ve always been happy with Bob’s Red Mill products, and this Organic All-Purpose Unbleached Flour is no exception. Their flours are consistently high quality, taste great, work and perform well in baking, and interact reliably with yeast when making bread.That said, the pricing on Amazon is much higher than elsewhere. In my (already expensive) city, I found it for about $2–$3 per pound through Instacart, while on Amazon it was nearly $6 per pound—even though it’s being sold directly by the brand. I’m not sure why it’s so overpriced here, but I’ve noticed that food items on Amazon often are.If you’re buying flour, I definitely recommend Bob’s Red Mill as a brand. Just be mindful of the price difference depending on where you shop.

Very good flour I am using for baking bread!

Let me tell you, I've been baking with Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat Flour for years, and this 4-pack is a total lifesaver. This isn't your typical whole wheat flour; the texture is incredibly fine, almost like all-purpose flour, which makes it super versatile. I've used it to make everything from hearty pancakes (fluffy!) to delicious whole wheat bread (perfectly risen!) and even surprisingly good muffins and cookies. I now have a ton of flour that I will need to find a use for! Thankfully it's nice and sectioned in resealable bags so it will be easy enough to store for later use.I'm not much of a baker, but I've been excited by the idea of baking some varieties of bread. This is going to serve us well in that endeavor. The flour is of high quality, it's obviously easy to use because it's a staple baking good, and it's got a lovely texture and taste compared to some of the more generic flours out there.I love that it is stone milled and seemingly made with quality in mind. So overall even though it's a bit expensive when you're putting it next to the cheapest of general-purpose flour, it's certainly a bit fancier, so I think it's worth the extra money. As long as all the claims they make are true. In my experience though, this brand does make good products for them prices they charge.

I've always been a fan of King Arthur flour. It is natural, unbromated and completely organic which results in your bread truly shining to the best of its ability. It is easy to bake with, is a quality flour and has a beautiful texture that results in a gorgeous crumb on your bread. It's a little bit more expensive than traditional flour but completely worth it. I especially like these smaller packages that re-seal... I can only do so much bread baking for two people. This allows me to keep it fresh, keep the quality great and overall, makes my life a lot easier. I am a fan!
