My RO system output pressure is low so I added this to give it a boost to serve counter-top faucet and refrigerator ice and water chiller. So far, so good! It uses standard poly fittings and connects easily, in from under-cabinet RO and out to a tee to fridge and faucet. It kicks on for a few seconds when using the faucet or in-fridge chilled water dispenser but once pressure is up it switches off; the sound is negligible. With RO there's no need for the in-fridge water filter.

Works perfect and only runs when my fridge calls for water, relatively quiet and easy to setup. My fridge waterline was 5/16 so I had to get a 5/16 to 1/4 quick connect at Home Depot to connect everything.

I had initially negatively reviewed this item but would like to change my review. I think the water level was not right which did not engage the suction on the device. This item works great now!!!

It works but it’s very loud.
