Tank 3 Pro Rugged Phone 16GB Review: Llegó muy bien en buen estado y funciona a la perfección si claro es pesado porque es para hombres 😃 Review: Been using the Tank 3 pro for three days now. Yes there are some cons but few. I'll start there. I saw a review that said it does not work on cricket. I initially had AT&t, phone calls and text messages worked just fine. 5G INTERNET DOES NOT WORK ON THE AT&T NETWORK WITH THIS PHONE. I switched to T-Mobile and it works just fine. YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THE CHARGER IN THE BOX. I haven't been able to test the theory yet with my other fast chargers, but even plugged in for 2 hours in the truck with Android auto and the battery increase was minimal. Battery lasts forever not that big of a deal. It's big but fits in my deep pocket jeans no problem. There is a place on the bottom back for lanyard. I put a necklace lanyard on day one. It's heavy but not unmanageable. The camera stabilization is kinda crappy at max zoom. There will be no updates to the software that I'm aware of. Due to the thickness of the phone it is somewhat difficult to type at times, and requires two hand operation. Just a learning adjustment. PROS Phone is a conversation starter with just about anybody. Projector is what attracted me to the Tank 3 Pro. It's not the greatest if the room isn't dark, BUT when zoomed out to cover the entire wall of my bedroom, the quality is still there. You'll notice pixelation if you get real close but it's not enough to bother anybody. Even if you just use the projector for a 12-in screen, it's still worth it for sure. This is day three and as I type this review on the tank 3 my battery sits exactly at 50% I have plugged it in for a little bit here and there when in the car for Android auto camping light is brighter than bright, then has an even brighter setting.. There is a red and blue LED strobe above the camping light that can be accessed in the native toolbox app. IR cameras pretty cool but I haven't tried it outside yet. IR blaster native app works really well, better than a lot of the Play store universal remote apps I've used in the past with phones that have IR blaster Native toolbox has lots of cool stuff. Fan control, red blue leds, plumbob, compass, and more. Fingerprint scanner has been nice to have. Call quality has been okay. The speaker is decently loud, however it's not always super crisp due to the location of the microphone. If you're watching something and cup your hand at the bottom of your phone naturally while holding it, sound quality is perfect. Physical durability of the phone, I haven't dropped it yet but it came with a screen protector installed and an extra one as well. The review video that I watched showed someone throwing this phone at a boulder in the side of a cliff over and over again. I was waiting to see how long it would take to break the phone but the phone never broke instead The Rock dislodged from the cliff... I haven't tested the waterproof yet, however from the disassembly reviews of watched, there is a decently thick gasket around the entire phone with a secondary gasket around the cooling fan. I don't see myself going to take underwater pictures, but if I drop it in a bucket of water accidentally I'm not going to stress at all. Compared to the price of any other flagship phone this probably has the best value for your money if you can find a way around the few cons. I paid $680 ish total and received in 2 days. Lastly there's a ton more features I could probably talk about. Some things are definitely different from my other Android phones but all in all I am pleased.

The Unihertz Tank 3 Pro is a beast of a rugged phone that’s honestly blown me away for outdoor adventures and heavy use. I grabbed it a couple months ago for beach trips and work sites, and it’s lived up to the hype without major letdowns. Build and Durability This thing weighs nearly 700g and is super chunky at 30mm thick, but that’s what makes it tank-proof—IP68/IP69K ratings mean it shrugs off water, dust, and drops like nothing. The customizable side buttons and built-in camping light with SOS modes are clutch for camping or emergencies. Only downside: it doesn’t fit in normal pockets, so I sling it in a belt pouch. Performance and Display Powered by a Dimensity 8200 chip, 18GB RAM (12+6 virtual), and 512GB storage, it handles multitasking, 5G streaming, and light gaming smoothly—no lag even with a bunch of apps open. The 6.79-inch FHD+ 120Hz screen is vibrant for videos, but it gets hot at max brightness outdoors and glare can be an issue in direct sun. Battery Life The 23,800mAh battery is the star—easily lasts 2-3 full days of mixed use (GPS, calls, some video), or a week on standby. I’ve used it as a power bank to charge my other gadgets on long hikes. Charging takes forever at 66W wired, though, about 4 hours to full. Camera and Extras The 200MP main camera takes surprisingly decent daylight shots with good detail, but low-light performance is meh and selfies from the 50MP front cam are average. The real gem is the built-in DLP projector—projects a clear 80-inch image for movie nights outdoors, which has been a game-changer for group trips. Software’s clean Android 14 stock, but updates are spotty from Unihertz. Overall, if you need an indestructible brick with marathon battery and fun extras over sleek daily-driver vibes, this is your pick. 4.5 stars—worth every penny for my lifestyle, but not for everyone. Highly recommend for rugged needs!
