this is the only plant based faux beef i like
i weigh 122 but have high cholesterol due to diabetes so i thought i would try plant based "meat" as an alternative ... yuck, ugh, no thanks. i have tried "steak" and while it looked great, it was very unsatisfying. however, and maybe because this is crumbly and not trying to be chunks of meat, i actually don't mind this "ground beef" at all. i have never eaten it on its own (so my opinion could change), but i liked this in pasta sauce a lot. it makes the sauce look like it has meat in it and it blended well with the flavor and texture. this is literally the only plant meat i have liked so far, even with this brand's other plant based meats i have tried.

Tastes Like The Real Thing
I love this stuff! It works well for anything that’s calls for ground beef. I can’t tell the difference as far as the taste. The texture is softer than ground beef, but that doesn’t bother me.

Best brand of vegan crumbles ever!
This is my go to Vegan ground be’f, it’s absolutely delicious and you can add it in your pasta dish, use it to make some vegan tocos, sloppy joes, and so much more!

Hard to rate - it takes on what you add to it
I only got around to trying this brand of faux beef crumble today. I am around a 70% lacto-vegetarian for most of my adult life. Having found that the ethically-sourced bison meat I had purchased a while ago was expired and wanting a comforting childhood dish requiring ground beef, I had this in the freezer. I put in a generous amount of olive oil into the pan, dumped half a package in and was greeted with no aroma whatsoever (not necessarily bad) Oh my did this soak up that oil. Added more oil. Added more oil before I said enough and just dumped in tomato paste and water and stirred like crazy. I can say i did add my own seasoning just garlic and onion and only finishing salt. My there is definitely pepper in this. But otherwise it is totally neutral like tofu. No real flavor of its own and should certainly absorb any flavored liquid. I can see how it could fool strictly carnivore types in a dish requiring ground meat (lasagna?) Not bad and not terribly expensive considering costs today of especially meat and quality vegetarian product. Be prepared for it to need a lot of liquid seasoning. Keyword: liquid for it to absorb flavor. It is very dry.

Yummy
Best plant based meat crumbles around! Smells alright. Looks like meat, taste amazing once seasoned. Texture is like meat as well. Idk how they did it but these are the only meatless crumbles I like.

My go to for vegan taco meat. It’s a better value than most and it works just fine.

Garden meatless crumbles are so flavorful and diverse in the kitchen. I use them in any meal one would typically use hamburger in. Add some spices, brown in a little olive oil and serve in your favorite meal.
