It seems to be. It does not leave black smears. You can actually rub your eyes and it just flakes off and nor smears.

Q: is this the same color that was made for green eyes Mocha?

The color is brown/black; should be fine for green eyes; I have brown.

Q: Is this mascara easy to remove or do you need makeup remover pads?

You will need some sort of make up remover. Regular soap/ water will not do it. Great mascara though and doesn't bother my contacts lens.
