It is physically too large to fit in a spark plug well.

I was wondering will it work on a round body made of 303 I work at a machine shop and I have to mill a hex pattern

I am not positive because I am the wife of the recipient but, I have been wanting to get him one for years, the original Gator Grip that being said, he has stripped nuts before to where they were practically round and has come across some practically round and this puppy gripped them and did the job. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a hex pattern, if you look at it? it is already showing like a six corner start on it. The only thing he said he would change about this tool? Is it won't go into tight places but, he was working on a PT cruiser, that should tell you something. He is thoroughly satisfied with this tool and takes care to know where he keeps it :) Hope this helps.
