This nasal dilator really works well, but fitting it properly is the key to success. You can't just "sling it in" and hope for the best. Stand in front of a mirror and press gently upwards, working on one side then the other until it's fully in. It will be uncomfortable for a couple of minutes but don't despair, it settles in. Result - much improved breathing, great sleep and little or no snoring. Magic.

Caused a skin break on inside of nose and bleeding no matter which size used. The material is too rigid and not cushioned at all. After the first nasal tear/ cut, left it to heal and waited a week before trying the next size and same thing happened. Walking around feeling like you've been smacked in the nose is not worth it and didn't improve sleep quality because of the pain caused by trying this dilator. What ended up being more useful to reduce snoring was being on an extra pillow (more elevated) and side sleeping.

It definitely works for me with breathing in bed greatly improved. However it does tend to come out in the night and the price is outrageous!

I had low expectations & I don't think this has made any difference to my snoring BUT....... This is a revelation, small sized fitted nicely and no problem fitting, no irritation or discomfort as was easy to use and the change in airflow is amazing, I have problems breathing through my nose most of the time and this is amazing, I can breathe through my nose consistently and fell asleep doing so for the first time ever. That said, on the 2 nights I have used it I have removed it early morning as it had worked lose but I think that is practice on good fitting more than anything.

These nasal dilators feel nice to the touch, but are not sufficiently rigid to effectively dilate the nostrils. Tried both sizes but fit only partially satisfactory. Some breathing improvement and snore nose reduction, but overall less effective than similar products.

Bought this for my mother, whose snoring wakes up the family. On first impressions, the nasal dilators come in a small package in two sizes. Two different size dilators offer comfort for various noses. Instructions were easy to follow. Mum noted no issues with inserting. comfortable AND effective as no snoring heard. Will definitely buy after the recommended three months.

If you’re thinking about buying these, I’d personally skip them. The material feels cheap and flimsy, which means they don’t hold their shape properly and therefore don’t open the airways much — if at all. They were uncomfortable to wear, didn’t stay in place, and I didn’t notice any improvement in breathing. Overall, not worth the money in my opinion.

Was habe ich mich gequält... Trotz Nasen-OP vor ein paar Jahren, bekomme ich abends keine Luft mehr, weil meine Nasenschleimhäute nahezu pünktlich jeden Abend anschwellen. Ganz egal, wo ich bin. Und keiner weiß, warum. Ständig werde ich wach, weil der Mund ausgetrocknet ist. Die Zunge leidet, die Mundwinkel sind rissig. Dieser Airmax funktioniert so toll, ich kann gar nicht so viel Luft atmen, wie jetzt durch meine Nase geht. :-) Dabei finde ich den Airmax nicht mal besonders gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wie das Material meine Nase von innen verletzen soll, wie hier schon berichtet, ist mir ein Rätsel. Ich spüre ihn kaum. Vielleicht kommt ja noch eine L Größe. Ich glaube, die würde mir noch besser passen. DANKE, DANKE!

Non recensisco mai un prodotto, ma trovo che sia necessario farlo in questa situazione perchè avrei voluto leggere questa recensione quando stavo cercando una soluzione per migliorare la respirazione. Recensisco dopo più di una settimana di utilizzo, durante la quale sono successe un po' di cose. All'inizio la sensazione è che si respiri meglio, ed effettivamente la spinta meccanica sulla parete interna della narici fa il suo dovere egregiamente. Il flusso d'aria è nettamente superiore rispetto al normale, soprattutto per chi ha le narici che tendono a collassare su se stesse per via dell'aria che entra nel naso. Anche l'espirazione è favorita, aiutando a eliminare tutta la CO2 accumulata. Il prodotto è davvero leggero e per chi non ha troppe pretese sembra quasi di non averlo, tanto che io lo utilizzo sia di notte che di giorno. Tuttavia, durante i primi tentativi è normale che si crei una leggera irritazione sulle pareti del setto, dato che la leggerissima pressione, se prolungata nel tempo, danneggia lievemente la cute e la mucosa. A ovviare il problema ci sono un paio di soluzioni: la prima è dare tempo al tempo. L'irritazione iniziale scomparirà col passare dei giorni e il corpo si abituerà. La seconda, che in realtà non ho provato, ma che mi sembra ragionevole, è di applicare una modestissima porzione di lubrificante. Tutto sommato è un prodotto economico che mi ha completamente cambiato la vita: la respirazione è molto migliorata (da notare che si può usare anche durante le attività sportive e devo dire che anche qui si sente parecchio la differenza) e benché non sia la cosa più bella e comoda del mondo si presta a evitare operazioni di settoplastica.
