Dog Skin Balm for Itchy Skin - Natural and Organic Ointment for Dogs - Itchy Dog Balm Safe for Licking

I bought this as my Weimaraner had developed an itchy, sore ‘hot spot’ around his groin area. He wasn’t happy and constantly licking the area, making it worse. I’ve been using the balm for three days now, and the area is almost clear, is pink and no longer red. Quinn is much happier and has stopped licking the area, he adores having it applied, let’s me apply it with no problem. It smells great, seems to be working well, you only need a small amount, and on top of that, it’s all natural as well! Absolutely thrilled with the balm, and am anxiously awaiting more stock of the shampoo for him now. Thanks Progroom for an excellent product!

My dog has a dry/red patch on her elbow and this has definitely helped to soothe it. The dryness was gone within a few days (I applied 2-4 times a day depending on how often she was scratching at it!). The redness is also going down too. It is slightly firm in the pot but went on pretty well. My dog is also fluffy and it didn't get matted in her fur at all. Would recommend for areas which may be irritating your dog.

Our dog Mollie came back from the groomers with a sking infection (not sure thats where she picked it up, but her problems started right after her return) she had massive sores on her tail and hind quarters, anyways the Vet gave us some anti-biotics an steroids, to take, and a friend at work suggested this Ointment, it really worked well, the ointment really stopped her itching and worrying at the sores with her teeth.100% organic so the dog can lick it and it won't hurt them... probably shouldn't say this, but I'm diabetic and have leg ulcers, and have used this ointment on myself, and it has reduced the size of the ulcers. (this is just me, please don't use it on yourself just because I have)anyways a worthwhile investment if your pet suffers from skin problems. I would 100% recomend this product to any dog owner.

Works well, skin looks better straight away,but Smells so nice my dog spends an hour licking it off and then makes her skin more sore than it was before so have stopped using it.

My dog has problems with yeast since a pup in ears and skin. Every time I go vets its costing me £100+ a visit. My dog skin and ears turned black and she constantly scratching alday. I thought I give this a go and didn't have high hopes as bought loads of products and vets products and nothing worked. After a couple days using it I noticed she slowed down itching and skin didn't look so dark so carry on using it. I applied it once a day ear, tummy and back . Bin two weeks now and there's bin a massive difference her skin you can start seeing pink again and starting to clear up very slowly. And she hardly itching now 😁 the smell really nice and harmless for them if they lick it. I'm really happy with this product and I'll carry on buying it as its works for my dog. Thank you so much

My 7 year old Shihtzu had developed a serious skin allergy...this resulted in all the hair around entire neck becoming hairless. It was so unsightly and caused her serious distress ...she scratched so much the skin became coarse and inflamed. Took her to the vet who advised steroids, blood tests, skin creams...all of which I was not keen😞 So came home did bit a research and found this Progroom natural alternative. Wanted to try before getting prescribed medication. Twice daily I massaged into her neck which she seemed to find soothing. After one week there was little difference and I did think it was not working but decided to try a little longer. The fact she found it soothing was good reason to. Week 2 passed and I noticed the inflamation had gone and skin was softer...boost! Continued into week 3 and I honestly had tears in my eyes when I felt hair regrowing...was absolutely shocked as my aim was to sooth skin as vet had prepared me that she would be bald in that area. Used this for bites on dog . Worked a treat and stopped dog scratching. Also used to calm a sore on her jaw.

I bought this based on some really positive reviews on Amazon. My Westie keeps scratching and had a red patch on her tummy. Was close to Christmas and with lockdown etc hard to get out to get anything. Should have read the reviews a bit more.Firstly the balm is so thick it is almost impossible to administer to the affected area. Have to warm up in the palm of your hand but even then it’s hard to rub onto your dog. It’s really hard to get out of the actual jar too. Either have to “dig” in with your nail or scoop a bit out with a spoon.Tried using it a couple of times and like others have said it goes on greasy and I found it a bit lumpy because it was so thick. I wouldn’t mind but if it worked but I don’t think it made any difference whatsoever. Wouldn’t recommend and felt it’s a complete waste of money.
