I purchased 5+ separate rolls for re-wiring & looming trailers/ cattle pots taillight and marker light wiring. I rarely give reviews but this loom was absolutely necessary and I got it extremely fast. As for the thickness and flexibility it was surprisingly great quality for the cheap price. Some loom is too dry or stiff which takes more time to run wiring into, this stuff was 10/10 easy to use for the task but also not too thin. I would absolutely recommend this loom.

I got this to protect cabling from a 9 month old puppy who can chew a cable in half in one bite. Those new adult teeth of hers are really sharp. Well, I have to say she can't bite through this stuff too easily. It took her days of chewing on the same spot over and over for a while to actually get about half way through it. This stuff makes a lot of noise when they chew on the cable, so you can stop them from getting really determined and going all the way through. Is it going to stop a dog who is hell bent on chewing through a cable? No, a large enough determined dog will eat through a wall and no amount of plastic on a cable will survive that kind of dog unsupervised. This will slow them down and the noise of them crunching on it is like an early warning system so you redirect them to something more appropriate to put their mouth on. In the months that I've had this stuff I haven't even had to replace it, even when it's been damaged. The cable protection plus dog redirection has pretty much stopped her from just randomly mouthing cables. My cat who also used to be the occasional cable chewer looks at this stuff and is just offended by its existence on phone charging cables (her preferred cable). She doesn't even try. TBH I don't think she can get her mouth on the 1/2 in. I use the smaller size on the charging cables and both are just equally offensive. She will smack it with a paw to show her disgust and have it make noise because cat, but she definitely won't attempt chewing.
