These are now absolutely my favorite strap locks! They are a little thick, so the strap stands off the body just a smidgen, which would only matter if I was gigging AND actually really cared about that kind of detail. But I'm not gigging, and if I was, I wouldn't care about that. These are just so good - they've fit on multiple types of strap pins. They are nice and secure. They are remarkably easy to put onto straps and then onto the guitar. They are rubberized in all the right spots to not damage the finish, and heavy plastic and metal threaded components. Perhaps, in another world, I would find a way to destroy these if I was carelessly throwing a guitar around on stage, but even in my pop punk band back in college, I think these would have easily withstood all my jumping around and nonsense. Buy a set!

Brilliant design - couldn’t be easier to attach to the strap, and the lock into place on the strap pegs of the guitar. Very satisfying “click” when they lock into place. As someone who broke the headstock off a guitar once because of a faulty strap to peg connection, I really appreciate this product - I’ve got a pair for every guitar and bass I own.

So far so good first use today on heaviest of gibsons beauty 57. Put rubber strap locks for acoustic under to help protect finish . Has the extra space for padding or such. Holds tight and will return after months play but thanks the cheaper clips pop off and not drilling into old guitar. Debated over these or straps with built in clips but these clipped as stated no super hassles unclipping. Wiuld like to see actual metal solid ones considering whats being held. Maybe rok lok 3 in future. With padding for finish. Going to bounce my cheaper guitars around with it test it out before trusting it more with heavy guitar. Thanks it is better then the clip ones.

Rok Lok Pro is a must-have in my guitar accessories; I always play guitar standing up (e.g., stage performances, guitar lessons, and home-practice) and moving around. My guitar instructor taught me to play guitar standing up; and, during all my lessons, for an hour long, I play standing up — I am not allowed to play sitting down. I’m always strapped in when I play; hence, I need a system to ensure my strap doesn’t fail me. Rok Lok Pro reduces the chances of my strap coming off and dropping my guitars. I appreciate that Rok Lok Pro uses a fully crafted rubber base at its guitar-button connector; however, Gibson Les Pauls have a sensitive finish in that certain materials, such as, but not limited to, foams and rubberized materials, can eat-away the Gibson Les Paul’s finish; hence, in order to keep Rok Lok’s rubber-base away from my Gibson Les Paul R9’s finish, I use felt non-adhesive pads to separate Rok Lok Pro’s rubberized base from my R9’s Finnish. A brilliant solution to the problem of locking straps. It will fit any standard strap button, ,as well as any button from a Dunlop or Schaller system. Literally takes a minute to install. Simple to use. Tip: On my Gibson ES339, I put the neck end on backwards to fit the horizontal strap button found on most sem-hollow and hollow- body guitars. The only negative is that it's all plastic, and gigging musicians know how roughly some equipment gets handled. Also, it's a bit bulky, which can possibly affect the appearance at the neck. But so far, I love it.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It's lightweight, easy to use, and doesn't require any adjustments to your instrument. It fastens onto a guitar strap easily (and I have a bunch of different style straps, from quite thin to quite thick), and you can take it off and put it on another strap with no trouble. My only concern is with the product's durability because it's made entirely of plastic and rubber. The rubber part, which is the only part that actually touches your instrument, doesn't bother me. However, the rest of the thing--including and especially the part that screws onto the topside of the strap and, you know, KEEPS IT ON THE GUITAR--is made of what looks to be brittle plastic, and that's a bit worrisome. Is this product a good value for your money? To me, yes. But if it were mostly of metal, it would be even much better.

I normally use rubber washers as strap locks, but I had two basses where that just didn’t work. These fit perfectly, feel sturdy, and don’t come off until I unlock them. I do have some straps where I have to press hard to attach the lock. But it’s overall much better than the Schaller locks I used to use.

Great design and easy install and removal of guitar straps. Works well on large pegs, using on the larger pegs found on PRS guitars and works very well. Quick to add and remove a strap with solid design that looks to be durable over time and use.

I’ve fitted these to my Les Paul, so I sincerely hope that they are robust, but they appear to be and no problems with them at all. Fitting literally takes seconds! Note: I have finger tightened them and they’re fine.

Great concept, using on heavy strap for Les Paul and other guitars. Feels very sturdy. Not a bad investment considering the value of guitars used on. I trust this strap lock.
