Urban Legend - Collector's Edition [Blu-ray]

Awesome Collector's Edition with a ton of great bonus features.

not sure what grade i was in but it was before high school, i saw this movie and it really scares me. not to many films do that. i still check to see if there is someone in the back set of the car. i watched this movie so much that my VHS copy died, and now i'm so happy that they put it on blu ray. one day if i have kids i'm going to pass it on to them. so if you love horror movies, this is a top gem you should own.

I really enjoy this movie. It comes with bonus DVD full of bonus features like actors in the movies doing interviews, and the Making of Urban Legend. Really good classic Horror!!

An incredible release. It has a great documentary. This and Valentine - collectors edition are wonderful movies with great documentaries.

Always had a soft spot for this movie. It's a decent 90's slasher with a great release from Shout Factory. Region A. English subtitles. Definitely worth buying. Better than the bare bones blu-ray you usually get.

Picture quality and features package are worth it if you enjoy the flick.

This movie is fantastic. Lots of cool kills. It gets compared to Scream unfairly. It's not as good as Scream but how many horror movies are? Urban Legend is a fun horror and I was actually surprised to find out who the killer was.

Just went through the three hours of features for “Urban Legend.” They are fantastic and very in-depth. They interviewed almost the entire cast (even Robert Englund), but they couldn’t get Joshua Jackson and Jared Leto. Overall, a fantastic release, well worth the twenty-year wait.

Why only 4 starts when this is 1 of the BEST slashers of the 90’s ( late 1998 ) better than scream imo UL is one of my all time favourite movies , You had icons in it , Chucky & Freddie are in the cast So why 4 starts So I bought the ( region B version with the eye in the middle ) this is very important as Urban legend Blu ray the standard comes with the actors on the cover with a blank hole in the middle It’s half the price of the one with the Eye in the middle This is important because the one with the eye in the middle is the special edition of UL It gives you what the standard has , commentary from Jamie the director & has behind the scenes But the one with the eye in the middle is twice the price and was released after the first Blu ray and has the above but ALSO The deleted scenes , of hootie the dog , of Sasha ( Tara Reid who I used to have a huge ) there is more of her & I don’t want to ruin it But you get all the deleted scenes and a different UL mixed in that did not make the cut I’m delighted it is getting a reboot is in development & I’d say next year we will get UL 2.0 , now with all the internet urban legends etc by screen gems should be amazing Back to the movie UL 1998 - I know the cover on the more expensive one has an eye on the front but the original back As in it doesn’t show the deleted scenes which is odd , I bought it because it has the eye and I wanted the deleted scenes and that’s why I spent double than the normal/ original urban legend Blu ray So that’s the reason , they are hard to find & I thought I would get lucky , the front of the case is right but it doesn’t have the deleted scenes on the back The one with the white eye like it should. That’s why 4 starts Other than that , it’s flawless It has an amazing opening scene with Chucky as the gas station attendant , The professor in the movie is Freddie cruger ( nightmare on elm st ) It has amazing lighting & editing & it’s really well shot It looks amazing on a 4K UHD Tv , And 100% brings back that 90’s nostalgia that I love Even tho I was very young & should not have seen it due to my age 7/8 .. it brings you back & is not outdated at all It’s well worth the money for FULL HD even on a Plasma Tv ( prior 2018 ) it looks so good compared to the DVD , 100% but it if you have not seen it You have an actor from 90210 in it , And the kills are amazing & if you have not seen it you won’t have any idea who the killer is They do an amazing job with it & I think the killer is very underrated- she might be a little nutty or eccentric - I was always such a DOPE in anatomy No jump scares, you care about the people been killed , not like today it’s a masterpiece imo The only negative is lead ( not the best actress Natalie ) but it doesn’t take away from the amazing writing It was never going to win an Oscar but for a horror movie of the 90 or early 2000’s it’s one of the best Just know the one with the eye should say deleted scenes on the back it doesn’t it’s the standard Blu ray back but special edition front & is twice the price with no extra ( deleted scenes ) and it should have Maybe I got a bad copy. Hence the 4 stars movie is flawless & an amazing double ended Movie 5 starts The extras with the price & the eye been the special edition when it’s not gets 4 starts Still buy it you will love it!

Urban Legend es una película que ha envejecido bien, una divertida película de terror. Buen elenco con una mezcla de grandes estrellas de cine en sus inicios (Jared Letto), de TV (Michael Rosenbaum, Loretta Devine, Joshua Jackson), veteranos del cine de terror (Robert Englund-Freddy, Brad Douriff-Chucky, Dannielle Harris-Halloween), actores de películas serie B (Tara Reid) y las principales que lo hacen bien (Alicia Witt y en especial Rebecca Gayheart). Las persecuciones y las escenas de muerte representando leyendas urbanas están muy bien hechas , la película está muy bien ambientada y en HD se ve bastante bien. Los extras nada espectacular pero no están mal. El único pero que al ser una edición de colección, no tan económica, debería tener subtítulos en más idiomas, no tiene subtítulos al español, solo en inglés y mucho menos el doblaje. Aún así, es una buena película. La entrega de Amazon, como generalmente, muy bien!

One of the most underated films of the 90s, much better than the very popular Scream, many involved was their first big project so their passion comes through the screen, first time director, writer, producers, and the studio gave them the freedom so the end result is a beautifully directed, written and acted film that poses as just another 90s slasher flick but is much more than that. Some of the crane shots in this film are unbelievable and the script keeps you guessing while being quite funny and self referential. The added bonuses in this collectors edition go over much of this and the film looks great on at 1080p!

Qualité Blu-Ray impeccable. Les suppléments sont variés et généreux. L'équipe de production, les acteurs et le scénariste ont eu beaucoup de plaisir lors du tournage. RIP Sylvio Horta.
