The Pepper Plant Habanero Extra Hot California Style Hot Pepper Sauce 10 oz (Pack of 2)

It's not overly hot where it takes away the flavor of the food, this sauce adds to the flavor. I use it on almost everything.

I found this brand at a local restaurant. Since I love hot sauce I wanted to give this a try. I fell in love. Love at first bite you could say. Right then and there, I looked up this sauce on Amazon and was able to purchase it. I now use this at home to make cooking a little more spicy. For me, this is not really that hot. Don't let the Habanero fool you. This sauce has a smokey flavor to it and it's excellent. It makes my taste buds dance with joy. If you enjoy spicy and tasty at the same time, look no further. This is the sauce for you!

This is my fav hot sauce if you want something on the thicker side for a sandwich. Been buying it forever.

I asked my son when in Cali, hey what's that pepper sauce? "give it a try," he responded. I took one bite and immediately ordered 4 bottles. It is that good.

I really love hot sauce. Peperplant Habanero is simply the best. So much so that has not become difficult to use anything else. It is just so good. It has an incredibly rich and smokey flavor and is thick and chunky. Only negative that I can think of is that I can not seem to subscribe to have it automatically delivered.

Pepper Plant started out as my favorite hot sauce. First found out about it at a nice cafe in San Luis Obispo, called Big Sky. I used to love their breakfast potatoes with a generous helping of the delicious Pepper Plant original or garlic hot sauce.The reason for this review is two fold.I recently realized that Pepper Plant uses plain old tap water as one of their first ingredients. I realize most people don’t care much what they put in their bodies, but for those who do, toxic tap water is a major turn off. I was willing to overlook the fact that none of their ingredients are organic or even labeled as non-gmo. My justification being that a small amount of pesticides occasionally, won’t hurt. Besides, I take things to detox all the time. The hot sauce is just so good, that I make allowances. But when it finally sunk in that Pepper Plant is using water right off the tap — with no filtering whatsoever, it slowly began to lose its appeal. Sure because of my addiction, I ordered a few more bottles, and tried to forget about it. But after a recent bad experience with a bottle that arrived broken (and not being able to return it) I seriously rethought my long time patronage to Pepper Plant. Sadly, the love affair is now over — one that lasted over a decade. Over that period, I turned on a lot of family members to the sauce as well.The seller does’t accept returns — even for broken bottles — due to shipping! As I was saying, the recent bad experience with receiving a broken bottle made me totally rethink my commitment to Pepper Plant. Even though that had nothing to do with the company itself, but just the seller, it made my decision to abandon Pepper Plant all together, a lot easier.If you are the kind of person who only thinks with your taste buds, Pepper Plant will be a great match for you. If you are a more discerning and conscious consumer who really cares what they put in their body, you may want to think twice. For those rare few, I recommend Organic Harvest Foods Arizona Peppers Organic Sauce.But if you don’t mind adding more contaminants to your body — from the water supply, like chlorine, fluoride, residual pharmaceuticals and pesticides, not to mention heavy metals and even parasites and bacteria (which hopefully the hot sauce will kill) — then go for it, pour on generously over your favorite genetically modified food and wash it down with a glass of tap water or an acid soft drink.What really matters is that it tastes good, right?

I put it on everything. Spicy but not too spicy.

If you love a dash or dab of hot pepper sauce on your food and still stuck with either of tabasco, cholula or siracha (siracha is still half decent)- you got to try this.Finally you can taste flavors that are not just vinegary mess or just heat of pepper.You would want to put this on many things to take the flavors to another level.It has taken a permanent spot in my pantry and also in my camping cooking box, can’t leave home without it.Writing this review after going through several bottles of it so you know it’s not just a new temporary transient thing.
