The best fire starter money can buy. Lights easily with a flame or ferro rod even in high wind. Given how long and hot it burns, you can essentially skip small kindling and light large sticks small split logs as is. This package should last me for several years. I typically only use 1 bar on a several day camping trip. The bars I received are surplus from 1983. Not really sure what the shelf life is.

Got what we ordered and a good price when promised. What more could you ask for! We'll order from this vendor again.

I have worked with these kinds of fire starters. They are good for camping. But I would not recommend to letting you boys to use them due to that most boys have never used items like this.

I got what I ordered. How do you rate Trioxane? All Trioxane is the same. It is what it is. There is no such thing as bad Trioxane or good Trioxane. It is an inanimate chemical and cannot commit crimes therefore it cannot be classified as "bad". It's like trying to rate a Hostess Twinkie. All Twinkies are the same. When you buy a Twinkie you get a Twinkie. I got what I paid for at the advertised price.

This IS military Trioxane but the add is a bit misleading. What it does not state is the age of the products. the mfg. date on the boxes were circa 1986 and 2 were 1983. With that being said, they still burned but not for long, 2 bars could not melt a camp cup of snow completely when using the Volcano stove with a bit of a platform inside to raise the fuel close to the cup. This product could have easily been about $15 if not $20 dollars cheaper. Also, i ordered 3 of this package and the product is ACTUALY 15 boxes of 3 bars/box. Not a good deal in my honest opinion. i get more use from scooping Sterno into the heater with a spoon.

I have ordered Fuel Tabs in the past, What I got was Fuel Tabs three times the size. These can easily be split in two to double your fire starting abilities.

Got the product not as advertised. These are the single use tabs not the large bars that can be broken into 3 uses. Made contact with the seller they offered a discount or to send them back. I just asked they update there description to be accurate on what they are selling.
