Galaxy A53 5G Mobile Phone SIM Free Android Smartphone 128 GB Black

The A55 is a fantastic phone. Until recently I always had flagship Samsung phones until I decided to break the cycle and go sim only. Tri ed a couple of other brands, Nokia and Blackview, which were great on batteries but seemed to achieve this by shutting down apps which didn't work for me. Then I found the A55 and it is awesome. It has dual sim capability which is excellent (home sim / work sim) and is as fast and functionally excellent as any of the flagship Samsung I have had. The only thing missing really is wireless charging, but I bought an Olixar attachment and a handful of wireless chargers and it works brilliantly, so I never have to plug the phone in anymore. I thoroughly recommend the A55, you will not be disappointed.

The phone was delivered on time, was well packed so if there were any mishaps during the shipping process it would not get damaged. The screen quality and size are perfect for me, and charging is fast. It was easy to set up. It is great value for the money. I am pleased with my purchase.

Good phone, battery doesn't last as much as I want

After owning an s8 and having always purchased the high end phones every time I renew a phone, I thought I'd change my approach and try out owning a mid range phone which let's me upgrade sooner in a few years. The phone is fast, all games run fine for me, the camera is excellent, and it pretty much does exactly what I need. At this price, it's much cheaper than the rrp. The phone doesn't come with a charger and you'll want a 25w charger to see the fastest charging times. It takes no more than 1 hour to go from 1% to 100%. No issues found, delivered in protective packaging. I would highly recommend. I don't see much gained by spending an extra 500 for the high end models.

This offers both 5G and 4G use and also Wi-Fi Connect should normal use be impossible. That was an issue with its predecessor when several local masts either failed or were vandalised so that normal reception became impossible; it also ended Broadband connectivity until repaired. It did not allow Wi-Fi Connect (few of their models do) so was effectively unusable for several days. At best, signal strength was only one bar and drop-outs were frequent and annoying, especially if mid-call. The phone's features are good and although an update for the A52S, it came with Android 11 installed (the 52S has Android 12) but it later was updated to 12. There is some Samsung bloatware that some may need (probably not all of it) but they can be deleted. Transfer of data from my old phone was made easy by Samsung (via apps - one installed on the A53 but its partner had to be downloaded onto the old phone); it took about 30-40 minutes. The battery life seems good and far better than on the older phone - unless heavily used, it should be good for a couple of days at least - four is easily possible with a few calls and messages etc.

I recently switched to the A53 from my Samsung Galaxy M31, primarily due to the need for 5G connectivity, since the M31 only supported 4G or lower. Let me start by saying that both phones are exceptional considering their price points. However, the A53 has proven to be a significant upgrade from my trusty M31. In terms of performance, the A53 has proven to be noticeably faster and more responsive than my M31. Apps load swiftly, multitasking is a breeze, and overall, it just feels snappier in everyday use. This improved performance has added to my overall satisfaction with the phone. To complete my experience, I paired the A53 with a Spigen Rugged Armor Phone Case. It's become the perfect setup for me, ensuring my device stays safe while still looking stylish. In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy A53 has proven to be a worthy upgrade from my Galaxy M31. If you're in the market for a budget-friendly smartphone with excellent features, the A53 is definitely worth considering.

Would of given 0 but cannot. I had the phone 8 months and its no longer working. Spoke to the seller and they refused a refund or a repair. Tried to put the blame onto me saying i had dropped the phone. My phone was never dropped or damaged in anyway, the sim reader just stopped working deeming the phone unusable. After 8 months! Shocking customer service. AVOID!!!

Bought this in mid 2023, it's a great phone that still holds up well in 2025. Excellent display, battery life is amazing, lasts up to 2 days with my semi-moderate use. However, updates for this phone would end soon, so I would recommend finding another handset to buy if you want to stay secured for updates.

Har 50% batteri kvar när jag lägger mig och jag använder telefonen flitigt på jobbet. Min gamla telefon hade kanske 10% och då fick jag dra ner på ljusstyrkan och stänga av appar osv. Samtalskvalitén är hög och skärmen samt högtalarna är väldigt bra. Enda nackdelen jag kan komma på är att den skickas utan 230V laddare och trådlös laddning klarar den ej. Men för 3500kr ger jag den 5 i betyg, det är mycket för pengarna.
