Best customer support when it was MY FAULT.
First things first: -I'm a road biker who regularly bikes with a group, and I needed a light to light the path and to alert oncoming cars -I needed the lights to be recarchgable -I needed them to be water proof and quick release -I wanted a quality service if something were to happen. -And I wasn't payed for this reviewAside from meeting all those requirements:The light is pretty bright and it has a good spread. The front light feels solid and feels like a quality construction, even moreso does the back. The rear light feels even more high quality with a good tactile button. I really love the back light, as it is REALLLY bright.Recharging takes about an hour or two, and the cable that comes with this is really nice, braided cable. The mounts are really good and they allow me to easily take the lights off before class. Now heres the part I really like about this product: the service.I was on a group ride one day. When I came back I found the quick release had fallen off the back of my bike. I emailed them asking them if I could PAY for just holding bracket and shipping instead of buying the entire set again. If they had said yes that would have been amazing, BUT THEY OFFERED TO SEND ONE FOR FREE, even though it was my fault that I lost the bracket. So here we have a 27$ bike light combo that has the best service one could ask for, great features, good build quality, and great performance. I was skeptical of these lights when I bought them, but after using them for 2 months I can really say these are a bargain. Again, I was NOT paid for this review, I actually think this these are a good deal.If you have any questions let me know.

Erratic functionality; short lifespan
From the get go the button on this light never worked very well. Sometimes the button will cycle through the different light settings and sometimes it won't. Very often it will not shut off the light. I ride my bike every morning to work and every morning when I get to work I have to stand outside the front door and press the button about 20 times cycling through light modes until I get "lucky" and the light turns off. I have to do this again when I get home. I dealt with this for about 4 months until the other day the light just decided to totally stop working. I've tried everything and it will not turn back on. Spend a little more money and get a light that will function correctly and last, especially when you're relying on it for safety. The rear light lasts a long time and is bright but IT DOES NOT BLINK. Really should have this feature for safety and visibility.

Nice lights and well worth the money for peace of mind at night time.
First off, I did not receive any discounts for this product, so, my review is based solely on husbands' use of the lights. The lights came in a nice box, with a USB cord for charging, a power block for the cord, and the two lights, plus an instruction manual. Based on his feedback, since he rides mostly at night time, I've included his pros/cons of the lights.Pros:1) The lights are bright and the multiple modes are nice to have as well (front light - high, medium, low, flashing; rear light - low, medium, high, flashing, strobe, and intense strobe).2) Easy to install on both the handle bar, and the rear seat post.3) Charging time is not bad, at all, and the lights came charged in the box. Though, still best to charge them completely, prior to use.4) Easy to use with the push of a button, for both lights.5) Easy to remove the lights with the 'quick release' brackets if need be.Cons:1) The rubber mount for the rear light may, over time, become an issue.2) While the rear light position is 'adjustable,' going over bumps or rough terrain causes the light to end up in the lowest position of adjustment. Not a huge issue, but, still an issue.3) The USB cord is not a standard mini-USB type, so, if you have other USB cables sitting around at home, you won't be able to use them. We tried.4) The USB cord is 'very' short, wish it was about 18 to 24 inches, rather than it's current length.5) The rubber covers for the USB port on the lights seems like it won't last too long, since it's a bit flimsy. Wish the covers were more solid.Other than that, the front light has a nice beam that makes it very easy for oncoming traffic to see. The front light also does a nice job of lighting up dark streets at night time. The rear light is very bright and lights up the road behind the bike, as well. Charging times aren't bad, at all, and once completely charged, the lights seem to last a long while. So far, on one single charge, using 'medium' on the front, and 'low' on the rear, the lights have not needed charging in approximately 6-8 hours of riding time and still have not dimmed. Construction of the lights seems fairly solid, just wish the rubber band for the rear light was something a bit stronger (or different) and the USB cord was a standard size and length.

This set provides good visibility and makes you stand out better at night!
Very pleased with this set. I ride my bike in my neighborhood for exercise and some of the newer streets in the back are getting pretty dark at night. The headlight gives me good visibility well ahead of me and has also helped make me more visible to oncoming cars in the neighborhood. I deducted 1 start because, even though I have about average size handlebars, even with the two inlcuded rubber liner strips, the clamp doesn't give quite as firm a grip as I'd like. I have the clamp tightened all the way down but I can still twist it around the handle bar pretty easily. My ride is on a pretty smooth street, but I could see the light getting knocked around on a bumpier ride. The red LED tail light is great and SUPER bright. Really makes me more visible to anything coming up behind me.I really appreciate the USB recharge ability for both the headlight and tail light. The headlight removes easily from the mount with a quick release and the tail light has a rubber belt type strap that holds tight, but is also easy to remove. Popping these off at the end of a ride and bringing them in for a charge is simple.
