Muzzy Vice Intro/Amateur Bow
I’m going to leave points for this review so hold on. 1. It’s a solid compound bow that will help those with longer arm spans thanks to the many different adjustments. Out of box some one 5’7-5’9 can pull it back and shoot at the factory string setting. 2. It come pre loaded around 40lbs. Mine was 42 out of the box according to the archery shop. I set it for 37lbs and still went clean through a fish at 10 yards. (29” 11lb Northern Snakehead) 3. You can quick shoot the bow I have done it and so far now issues. The small draw weight doesn’t cause much issues with this. However you’ll feel the three shot points in the cam system. 4. Almost lost a star but after 6 hours it didn’t seem to bad. Compared to recurves this unit is a bit heavy. However it’s geared towards the new shooter. It comes with all you need. The only two cons 1. The arrow rest is great except. You need to flip it around. Factory atleast mine was on the inside of the bow facing the string. I flipped it and left it on the right side of the bow but the arrow rest is infront of the bow. I did this because at full draw the arrow would bounce in the rest and fall out. This is just because the rest is open. Until I replace the rest this is working great. 2. It has no arrow holder on it like the ams bottle style reels. Now this isn’t anything to loose a star over. You can feed the arrow between the two limbs and the bow string guide. This will not lock the arrow I place. But keep it close with the reel kept taught.

Good starter bow for beginners.
Great rig, have been out several times with mine and no problems so far. Lost a few arrows in some big fish but that's not the bows fault. Definitely recommend getting more arrows the cheap ones work but they're not a good as the muzzy arrows. Might need stronger line if you're shooting big fish. Most of the fish I shoot are 18-40in and the bow and line holds up well. Be sure to check your line every few fish seems like the gar skin chews this line up pretty good

TEMU bow with Muzzy Branding
Packaging was horrible. Bow was in a bubble wrap sleeve and just plunked in a box that was way too big. Cams are damaged, reel is damaged. Quality of the bow is nowhere near what I would expect out of Muzzy. It honestly looks exactly like a TEMU bow that had muzzy branding. The finish on the riser and limbs is garbage, the finish on both of the cams is garbage. Do yourself a favor and just buy a cheap Chinese bow and put a reel kit on it, you’ll save hundreds of dollars for the same quality.

Outstanding quality
I got the model 7925. Black. Beautiful bow. Shoots true. Has everything you need. A little heavy. Everything works great. So smooth and powerful. Comes with one mediocre arrow, so buy a few arrows. A big upgrade from what I had. Very very impressed.

Good bow, looks clean
Great bow and easy to set up to your specs. The only downside was the knock on the arrow came off like 5th shot but some knock glue can fix it right up. Shipping was terrible with no support on the bow and the bow looked like it was beaten with a bat. The bow was fine and works great

Great product
I'm a Bowfishing Charter guide and customers can be rough on my gear. I've been using Muzzy products for many years because they can handle the saltwater Bowfishing abuse. The new muzzy vice color scheme is awesome with many upgrades. I would highly recommend the vice.

Awesome bow
Just buy it, don’t waste anymore time! I bought it took the packaging off tightened the reel down, tied an arrow to it and shot fish for 14 hours straight with ZERO issues, ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! Shoots straight and very quiet!

Customer service nightmare
I was very excited to buy this bow, and start bowfishing. I chose this bow because I believed the Muzzy name was associated with top-notch gear. This review reflects Muzzy’s accessories and more importantly their customer service. The first thing I noticed was that directions for setup were incomplete... frustrating. After 3 times taking the bow out (maybe 30-45 shots), the reel broke and I decided to send it back for repair. That process was a pain in the rear. Retail item names did not match their return item names, Even their video tutorial on their return website was outdated. Painstakingly, I figured it out on my own. Once my return was accepted, I shipped the reel, opting to pay for three day shipping. They received the real, and began the repair process taking nearly 1.5 weeks. Once it was complete, it sat for a few days waiting for shipping and then was shipped using the slowest ground service possible. At this point I was just happy that they fixed it. Once I received the reel, I installed it and went back out the next day. After about 6 shots, the nock on the arrow broke. Thankfully, I had a spare. And after 10-15 shots, the reel broke again. Here we go through the same painstaking process… However, this time I specifically asked for a quick turnaround being that the river where I fish was going dry. Here we are now, three weeks into the process and the repair has been complete for 10 calendar days and the reel has still not shipped. The river is dry and I will not be able to fish again until next season. I have tried to call and get a status update, but nobody answers the phone. Additionally, the “fish hook” arrow rest that is included with the bow is absolute garbage. The single screw that they include allows massive amounts of movement, making shot placement extremely inconsistent. Overall, poor quality and worse customer service.

I ordered this in India and the first thing you need to know that the return is available but will be charged up to 30% for storage and delivery fee. ie: I bought it for 48k and after I came to know that it needed few modification in order to target practice other than that you can only use it for fishing (You need arrow rest, peep sight and bow sight to modify and vane clearance is too short). The bow is good overall but felt bit costly after knowing that it can only used for fishing and cannot shoot regular arrows and when I tried to return the vendor kept 15k so I cancelled the return. Like the bow but its costly.

For the price, you can't really beat this bow for bowfishing. On my first trip out and I got 3 common carp, and I'm by no means an expert. Easy to set up, accurate, fast and fully adjustable. Let-off is nice. Comes with a spin reel which I haven't used. I replaced that with an AMS bottle reel because it's lighter, lower profile and easier to use. I will say that I tried the Muzzy bottle reel on this bow first, but returned it because it's very cheaply made (plastic, feels like a toy). However, the bow itself and the Muzzy arrow included with package have both performed very well. Well worth it if you can get it on sale. I paid $390 CAD pre-tax in the summer of 2023, which is well below the current price.
