Knife Guard - Blade Protector With Saftey Edge and Grip Defender (1-Light Grey 5" to 7.5")

I thought this was going to be a softer, flexible type plastic. It is a very hard plastic with no flexibility at all. When put onto a knife it squeezes at the top and very quickly slides itself off following the angle of the blade. I thought I may be able to loosen it up a little so it would not squeeze the blade and slip, but when I pulled the pieces apart the whole thing snapped in half. Maybe it would work with very thin blades but its not worth the money.

This is a very good quality blade protector. Very worth the price.

I love that the entry point is flared, making it easy to insert the blade safely. It also has a stop at the end to prevent the tip from poking out. I use it on all my good kitchen blades.

Fits great, Taking on & off is smooth & my fingers are well clear of the blades. I expect these to travel well in suitcases. I have tried magnetized cases & snap-on cases, the magnets came off the case and stuck to the knives & plastic snap-on cases didn't fit all my blades well and take too much time to take on & off. These are working great!

Fit perfectly on a knife I was given as a gift around the holidays.
