I have been using this fluid head for nearly two months now. I use it whenever I need to shoot video clips. During recent trip to Jaipur, I had taken it alongwith my Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom by replacing the BH1 ball head with it. Thus, I carried a mini video tripod (having fluid pan and tilt head) in my backpack which was sturdy enough for my Panasonic HC-X920M video camera. However, when I travel by my car, I have the option of using it with my Vanguard pistol grip full-sized tripod which has already got a ball and socket head. Even if I knew how to remove/detach the pistol grip head from its legs, I wouldn't want to do that because by mounting my camera on the combined height of pistol grip and fluid head, I am getting 5 or 6 inches extra height for my camera.I find that this fluid head is giving me smooth pan and tilts very much within my budget and that's what I have been looking for. It is built to take the load of a small camera with perfect ease and the quick release plate is definitely large and solid built.

It is just ok type of product but price wise unbeatable. Its movement is tight even after full opening of screws. Only updown and left right movements given, my local tripod had one extra. You can check its full unboxing video on my channel "Youtube Creator's Academy"

The product is good. Can rotate horizontally 360 degrees and can tilt up and down.The base plate looks sturdy and has a 1/4 screw on top to attach a camera or to attach a mobile holder. But the tightening screw of the base plate has to be tightened using a coin or big flat screwdriver when the holder or camera needs to be detached from the base plate. Most base plates comes with a self tightening attachment that can used to screw them tight but not this one (see picture attached).I bought this for top down photography for attaching in my horizontal arm but this one is so heavy around half kg that I won't be able to use in my horizontal arm unless I use some counter weight balance.Also the movements of this one is quite tight so camera shots which requires the head to be rotated won't come out well.

Plastic. Poor finish. Not smooth pan/tilt. Can be used on a slider with DSLR but you get what you pay for. :-(
