Wonderful racer
Had a great time assembling this car. Great instructions, fine looking model, and a very strong pull-back response. Decals easy to apply. A rugged unit that is pretty hard to damage or break. When it gets dusty on the shelf, I just spray it off with the kitchen sprayer and shake the excess water off it, and lt looks good as new.

Great fun building and playing with it.
Really cool racecar model; My 6 year olds' favorite from the Technic series of pull/release cars. The Lego box indicates that it is meant for ages 7 and above, but I have found that my 6 year old could build it by himself with minimal help - there is a move which requires alignment of about 5 pegs to join two pieces together, and that is where he found that brute force was not enough. Otherwise this is a great building project which yields a cool fast car at the end. Plus the wheels are nice soft rubber, so they're hardwood friendly.

Great kit
This is a really great kit for kids and very fun to build. The price is pretty good for what this is. The pull back mechanism is really smooth and allows the car to roll very far, well over 20' on a smooth floor. It looks pretty good without the stickers too.

Smaller than anticipated
My 11 year old grandson had this on his wish list for his birthday. He liked it and put it together in a very short amount of time. I was disappointed in the size of the item, for the price.

Great fun. Just remember, this was $20 in September...$40 now!
Another fun Technic build. Lego is a home run. For $20 (and it's $40 now?! I bought in Sep 2014, 3 months later doubles?! don't pay that) you get a nice build that has a good friction motor. It performs well and does jumps nicely. Holds together well. Rebuild/alternate build options are nice.

lego technic race car is great
My son was overjoyed to receive this for his sixth birthday. Even though the box suggests it's for ages 7-14, he was able to put it together all by himself. He loved it that the directions told him where to put the included stickers on. After it was built he tested it out and it goes fast on wood floors and carpet! Now he wants to build me a lego technic vacuum cleaner. :-)

Quality Lego branded car!
Took forever putting it together, but once done, the race car works very well. The motor is a high quality wind-up type motor that seems like it will last a long time. Haven't dared to take it apart and use the motor for other Lego Frankenstein creations, but it's nice to have that option for the kids some day...
