AMAZING for LME Petri dishes!
I tried 3 times with a different brand and just couldn’t get it to solidify. This stuff solidifies within 10 minutes! I recommend using about 6g for 500ml LME agar. I used 8.5g the first time(I was a bit paranoid after the first useless brand) and it was a bit too solid. I used 7.3 the second time and it was still a bit too solid. I’m gonna use 6g in a day or so. Will report back but I’m confident this will be the right amount! Definitely buy this brand! EDIT- I use 6.5g per 500ml. Amazing stuff!

Works Great
I ordered agar powder for my wife. She used it to make strawberry marshmallows, and they turned out good on the first try. The powder is strong and works well, delivering the right texture and consistency. Plus, the pouch contains a decent amount, making it a great value for the price. We're very pleased with this product and will definitely be ordering it again.

My Favorite Brand for Kohakatou/ Crystal Candies
Holy grail of agar agar powders! I’ve tried a few other brands which have worked for what I was using them for (kohakatou/ crystal candies) but never with the level of success since using this! I have to use less of this product than I’ve had to use with other brands as well, meaning this bag will last me much longer. It is very strong, sets within no time and the crystallization on my candies are great! Would highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t succeeded with others before!

Excellent gel powder
I used one of these to make gummies and they came out BEAUTIFULLY!!!! If u want high quality gummies at home GET THIS you wont regret it, i only needed 6.7 grams of this to get the consistency i needed

Good quality and strong product
First I would like to say that I was very satisfied with the performance of the product. The agar is odorless tasteless and gelled very well. I bought agar-agar to make zephyr. This is not the first time I trying agar but worked only with this 900 strength. It's Agar a plant-based product (seaweed). I ordered it, and it arrived right on time.

This product works well and is is super easy to use. If you make recipes found on-line this product will work fine in them.

Gels good but cloudy
Has good gel strength and sets up nicely but is a bit too cloudy for me. I was going to use it for micology work and am comparing it to lab grade agar so the cloudyness may be normal for the food grade stuff.

Very strong gelling. Very nice.
It wasn't overpriced. Makes nice and firm gel. Definitely buy this one
