Medium. They write very well and do not leak.

Q: Is it a 5mm or 7mm tip on the pen?

I looked and can’t see a millimeter number. However, it does say say “m” on the nib. They write very well.

Q: I need v-pens with fine point. not all specify. i bought the thorntons but so far they aren't as smooth as pilot can you help?

These fountain pens have a standard nib. I don't know how fine a nib you require. But these are fantastic pens. They write smoothly and last longer than you think. I hope this helped.

These are INK pens, not felt pens like a sharpie. Depends on the size you want and what you are writing on. Fine, medium or large points. These definitely qualify as a FINE point in comparison to a sharpie point.
