This tastes fantastic. You can eat it a tiny slice at a time as a special treat. I bought 5 on special offer, so that says it all. Perhaps the full price is a little steep as many have mentioned but no-one is forcing us to buy. Great product for those who appreciate the finer things. Moist, fresh, fruity and yes, you can taste the whisky too.

Wonderful, moist and dense with fruit. It's extremely rich in flavor with barely a hint of single malt. Not as sweet as cheaper fruit cakes. It is definitely a premium fruit cake, and I would order it again. I really liked it.

What a treat. I cut and shared the cake with family. The taste was outstanding. I do say you have to be a conesour of liquor to appreciate the flavor. It's not a sweet cake by any means and a small bit goes a long way. Size of a small dense pound cake and the servings said for 10 but it's easier to cut into eighths.

So dry and flavorless absolutley not worth the price!

I love this whisky cake. The Glenfiddich flavor is mild and just right to appeal to most tastes. This cake is almost one pound and it is very small but condensed. It is loaded with cherries that appear to have been soaked in whisky and they are delicious. Pricey, but worth it especially if you have never had it before. If you are serving it after a dinner party I would get two or three. Personally I would douse it with additional whisky and light it up for fun and presentation.

The taste was ok, it was a thick based dessert. It tasted fresh, very compact, a little dry for a cake in my opinion. I was very disappointed in the size of the cake, I ordered one for our Christmas dinner and one to be shipped as a gift to a very close friend. After I saw how small it was, (it fit on a saucer) I would have cancelled the order, but because of timing, I could not replace the gift. The cost was excessive for the size of the cake. I’ll go back to making my homemade Quality Bourbon Fruitcake as Gifts in the future.

Very good but they are overly optimistic about how many servings are in this cake. They say 10. I think more like 5 or 6. Size is somewhere between a baseball and a softball. No complaints since I had not bought it to serve guests. Order one cake per 4 to 6 people and you and your guests will be happy.

Al tacto se siente bastante suave, el pastelito se encuentra bastante fresco, tomando en cuenta que no es temporada. Lo probaré y actualizaré mi reseña para emitir mi opinión. Actualización: esta brutal!!!! Tiene un sabor formidable ! Notarás de inmediato las notas del whiskey. Me pareció extremadamente delicioso, su consistencia es muy suave. No está seco y realmente disfrutas el whiskey en tu paladar. El cake tiene muchas pasitas . Si no te gustan, este postre no será de tu agrado. Realmente lo recomiendo!!! Lo amé.

The cake arrived a couple of days ago and I'm halfway through it already. Shame the wife doesn't like fruit cake... Seriously this is quite a nice, though small, fruit cake. The taste of the whisky is in there, smooth and subtle as the 12 year old is itself. It enhances the cake without going over the top. Have eaten 'home made' whisky cakes other people have made me and usually either hardly aware of the whisky or its way too overpowering. This is mild, tasty without trying to be a whisky with a little cake in it. Purchased this on subscription, will certainly buy this again.

The consistency of the cake is good, it tastes also good! There are so much dried raisins, while nuts and candied fruits scarce.

Love this cake. Rich flavour and texture will order again!
