Other than the gigabyte software giving me a BSOD after a software update (not BIOS) it's been good. The MOBO connections are a little wonky but otherwise I'm happy.

Powerful! This 4.5GHz 8-core 16 thread CPU with B650 Aorus Gigabyte motherboard runs my Windows 11 computer effortlessly. I bought this combo to replace my older technology Windows 10 computer, and installed a 2TB M.2 NVME PCI Express solid state drive which boots the computer nice-&-fast. Transferred all my Win 10 apps and documents to this new Windows 11 computer and am happy to make the transition from Win 10 to Win 11 before Microsoft's Win 10 support went down. It was a fairly economical way to build my new computer instead of buying a new ready made computer - by building it myself with lots of RAM, a big fast SSD boot drive, and good cooling, I probably spent less than half of what a ready-made computer would cost, and I've got better performance and quality components.

AM5 cpus test every possible clock speed of your ram so your first boot will take 20 minutes. If you have ddr5 6000mhz ram it will take forever. However, my motherboard is defective so regardless of how long I wait it will not post. Even with reddit tips regarding cmos resets it will not post. Just pay the extra and get X670 since the chance it is defective is way lower.

7800x3d holds its own as one of the best CPUs on the market right now, delivering high performance for a fair price. Delivering great gaming capabilities while multitasking. I was once running a CPU intensive game, youtube on one monitor, and discord on another and the CPU delivered! The motherboard has a semi-clean look to it, in comparison to some other TUF motherboards that have the giant brand logo on it. I prefer the cleaner look this MB has. Did give me some issue running higher end DDR5, but other than that has been great to me!
