Maulana Rumi (may Allah be pleased with him) is the greatest poet ever for me and if you will read this book with your spiritual mind open then i am sure you will feel the same. How deep and how tolerant he is, never ever he has been harsh in the book he just guide so well his students. A true sufi master a pure genius. May Allah grant you the highest abode in the heavens. Quality and service was very nice as well. Enjoy the spiritual ride fellas !!

A beautiful and quick read but only for an avid Rumi fan

I am a nobody to review the work of Rumi, his outlook of life and everything it contains is incomparable. As you read his words, its as if you discover a new face of life altogether! Mesmerised. Some words of his, are as good as a therapy. If one doesn't have interest for the poetic words, then it is not for you. But since its written in simple English, anyone can give it a try! Penguin, has done an amazing job at putting up this book together. With themes to follow, you can start & read wherever, without having to go from page 1 to the end. And this book, is best, when you take little doses of it everyday ;) Go Ahead!

Ocean..

Rumi is mindblowing. The depth and allusiveness of his poetry is matchless. Coleman Barks' equally graceful translation makes this Penguin edition a must-have for all those who like to savour the magic of Rumi.

Don't wait, go ahead and buy it now. Wonderful selection of Rumi's work. Great to get you started.

Not worth the price.
