Purchased these for my dad following a knee replacement as he was having back pain and we suspected this would help. There are many in a pack, which could be used to stack, or in his case, provide a lift in several pairs of shoes. They stick well and are comfortable in the shoe. You can get the lift you need for basically any teen or adult shoe size (he is a men’s 10). I imagine they could be easily trimmed if needed as the material is a silicon feel. Helped with his immediate pain, though may not for all depending on the reason. Good quality and value with so many in a pack. Would recommend this for the cost and flexibility to work for so many sizes and elevation needs.

Instructions would have been helpful. I needed the full inch to compensate for differing leg lengths after a hip replacement. At first I stacked all 4 and found the forward edge so high and uncomfortable that I planned on returning them. Then it occurred to me that the bottom 3 could be cut down to gradually slope toward the toes. I took about a half inch off the first that goes under the top, then an extra half inch off the next, and finally an extra half inch from the bottom one, leaving the top alone. Success! Be sure not to cut the bottom layer too short. It was only by cutting them that I could see there was removable plastic on the silicon layers. I thought I’d have to find another way to glue them so I was happy to discover they were self-adhesive. I had to reposition them in my sandal, but the glue seemed to hold up to quickly adhere again. Time will tell how easy they are to remove once they’ve been in for awhile.
