Will not fit somebChinese double DIN stereos.
The Scosche kit fit my vehicle (Colorado 2006) but it didn't fit the double DIN stereo I ordered from amazon (MP5), beware that some double DIN stereos like the Chinese brands are bigger. Luckily the stereo did fit the Colorado stereo opening perfectly, I had to use the metal mounting plates that came with the stereo, but I had to modify the plates just a little with the help of metal snips.

Fits great, follow instructions
Worked perfectly for my needs. I’m not sure why people have problems getting the right fit? You trim off the tabs exactly according to the instructions. Maybe they use butter knives and scissors instead of the proper tools. Fits great and holds my radio in place .
