Shock Doctor Men's 225 Ultra Compression Short with Carbon Flex Cup

When I put these on (with the cup in) getting ready for Krav Maga. my immediate thought was these are the most comfortable cup shorts I've ever worn in my life. I've worn a few different cup styles before, and they just were cups. Not very comfortable but I wore them for obvious reasons. Over the years I've done kickboxing, BJJ, and now KM. I own few pairs of UA, and a different version of Shock Doctor compression shorts. I am absolutely buying more of these. Due to the shape and the design of the cup with the pants, it just disappears onto my body. Soft silicone (or similar material) edges that move with you but keep the cup in place while you move around. Other cups I've worn have been pretty plain and bulky. Just sorta put a dome over my self, always shifting and most importantly protected me but wasn't cut and shaped in a way that prevented it from making contact and thus pain during a strike, even a light strike.

Comfortable. I forget there's a cup in there after wearing it for a few minutes. I wear it for MMA and it hasn't yet caused me any flexibility issues. Has protected me just fine from a couple accidental nutshots. The briefs fit correctly and do not ride up, bunch, bind, or shift.The downside is that it doesn't like to let go of the taint stank. Seriously. Gotta wash it really well (very hot water, or pre-soak, or cold wash 2x) to get it smelling fresh again. Other compression shorts I wear do not continue to reek of my taint after a wash, so it must be something about this material, and not something peculiar about my taint (especially since I shower immediately before putting it on).

These are simply awesome.I have a 32-33 inch waist and the medium fits perfectly.The cup is a little challenging to get into the pocket, yet once there, it is held PERFECTLY in place by the shorts. No need to adjust (huge plus for contact training)I bought these specifically for Krav Maga training and I had my wife hit the groin protection with a hammer while wearing to ensure comfort and protection (yes I trust her implicitly) - No problems at all! Comfort was excellent - impact resistance perfection!These are my new go-to for groin protection.

Excellent. I have about a 32" waist, I got these for playing floor hockey. While I haven't taken a shot to the beanbag yet, I can say that it is a very comfortable setup. Obviously the shorts fit tightly but that's the point. They wick sweat away and the shorts I wear over these move totally freely. The cup is held in position with no pinching or inhibition of movement, I pretty much forget it's there after I put these on and get my "stuff" adjusted.This was a great investment, as necessary as my shin guards for when I'm blocking shots or getting lower body stick checks etc.

I have been grappling for the last 6 months and have been wearing regular compression shorts with a cup pocket and am constantly having to re position the cup. On more than one occasion the cup moved and my junk got crushed. I tried these today for the first time and the cup never moves. It stays in place and very secure and not once did I have to mess with it. I am a 36 so went with the large which is right on the end of the size chart but they fit well.

After spending much time trying to find compression shorts rather than a jockstrap, I came across these and am glad that I did. They're comfortable, don't rub up on you, and stay in place while in motion. For once, you may feel like nothing is even there, rather than waiting anxiously for the moment to take off your protection. The small designs on the cup do start coming off after first use, but that does not impact performance. Overall, no regrets on this purchase.

I want this for ice hockey as a backup to my other Shock Doctor with Pat's this is a nice jock has the right amount of compression in the material is very moisture wicking

Used for MMA/Karate/Judo. I have had the high end under armour and Nike shorts. But these blow them a way. best materials feel like a dream. x fit keep cup in exact place, no dingle dangle. Fit is snug/tight, but material is flexible enough to be comfortable. plus carbon fiber cup. well worth the $30 or so. Going to get one for my 10 year old.

Husband loves these compression shorts. He wears them in his martial arts class that does a lot of MMA type moves and it protects him well while being comfortable.

Since buying this I have been punched, kicked, and kneed in the groin probably a dozen or more times in my Krav Maga class.. We're both still working great! So I give it 5 stars!

Shorts are great, and when the cup is in place everything sits very well. Does't shift around too much when running, but I find the flex cup a bit flimsy. Should be fine for lighter hits.

Good fit, snug and secure. Cup stays in place, and comfortable.

My husband has found it serves it's purpose well.
