Beautiful at night!
Many have said the paint on the characters looks really bad....I didn't even notice it until it was mentioned....Is it a Monet o Picasso? Not even close. However, it is sooooo beautiful at night and I love it!

Giftable and pretty but has pros and cons
Pros: The lantern itself is beautiful. I ordered two for gifts, and both came well packaged. Nothing was broken, and they both operated properly. I LOVE the USB option, it makes it so much easier to use because these lanterns in general drain batteries fairly quickly.Cons: I added a disclaimer card to the gifts because I don’t know anyone that isn’t going to think it’s odd that all their hair is painted red, lol! And the music jump scared me and my husband! The music box is tinny and loud. Luckily the “ON2” switch allows you to enjoy the light without the sound.Overall…one of the prettiest options on Amazon right now that can be used year round, so it was a keeper.

Beautiful to look at, but sadly cheaply made.
My daughter loved this globe, but accidentally dropped it on the carpet when shaking to see the snow, which dissipates quickly.As soon as it hit the padded ground, it shattered into a million pieces. I definitely remember glass on snow globes being more durable when I was a kid. The accident resulted in my daughter crying and feeling horrible about her clumsiness. For the price, the material is definitely not high quality and the snow globe should only be for display, not handling.
