i learned the hard way!
i had no clue that the fins of an ac needed to be cleaned. i never have in 20 years, and my ac was barely chilling my apt. when i found out how to do it, i sent for this comb. it took some time, but my air conditioner is as cold as the day i bought it. this tool is necessary if you have ac. ill use it monthly! good price too!

It does the job Fairly well
It does straighten some of the fins, but I think there may be other solutions out there that do better.

nicely made fin comb
This fin comb worked very well on moderately damaged fins. Fins that were crushed flat were unable to be repaired.

Ok. As pictured. Did not readily fix bent fins. A dollar store thin knife may be cheaper and more effective.
