5.7 in Baltic Birch US Navy wall plaque. This is a laser cut Navy Wall Plaque. It is made on Baltic Birch.This U.S. Navy plaque proudly displays the wording, "UNITED STATES NAVY" It has 4 layers: The base layer which is spray painted with navy blue paint on the front and stained on the back with Minwax golden pecan stain and sealer The rope layer stained with Minwax golden pecan stain and sealer The middle layer which is stained with Minwax golden oak stain and sealer The logo layer which is stained with Minwax golden pecan stain and sealer. Each of these layers is raised giving the plaque a 3D look. While the laser does cut the design out of the wood, there is a great deal of hand work put into this piece. I have sanded it until it is smooth to the hand, stained, painted and glued it together. Yes, there is a cut out on the back to be able to proudly hang this wonderful piece!
