Emmi-pet basic set for dogs - electric ultrasonic dog toothbrush (version 2.0)

My dog has alot of thick plaque build up on her teeth close to her gum line , after 3 uses the plaque came off in one lump, i was so shocked at the brilliant results. I did purchase a metal tooth scraper aswell to help with lifting plaque but this product is definitely worth the money as long as you read and follow the instructions properly.

Now I would really love to find some working method to clean up my dog's teeth to spare him an eventual vet visit. But this device isn't it. The day it arrived I took pictures of the three most affected teeth of my dog, to be able to compare after a period of treatment. I read the instructions carefully and used the emmi pet brush every day, save one or two. Now, after just about 4 weeks of treatment, I can say for sure that there is literally zero noticeable effect on the scale of those three teeth. So I am returning it. On a positive note, my dog was ok with the taste of the toothpaste :-)

Not able to charge it up for the first time yet. It comes with a 2-pin plug so will need to sort this out.

Have been brushing my dogs teeth using a regular toothbrush combined with plaque x for months. A week and a half of using this and a large chunk of plaque came off yesterday. It’s expensive but has saved me a trip to the vet for a teeth clean

I purchased this toothbrush back in April and have waited until now to write my review to see what results were achieved. Initially, I used this toothbrush with the Emmi Pet toothpaste on my 4 year old Cockapoo’s teeth every day as he had a build up of tartar. For the last couple of months I have even using it every other day as have been alternating cleaning his teeth with a conventional dog toothbrush and enzymatic toothpaste. I have also been using Plaque Off which I add to his food to assist with the removal of the tartar build-up. My dog’s teeth have greatly improved with a few stubborn remnants of tartar remaining. I’m unsure if the improvement in his teeth is purely down to the Emmi Pet toothbrush, or the combination of methods used and unfortunately I will never know. As I said it is not a miracle worker and you need to be persistent. However, I am glad I purchased it as It means my dog doesn’t have to undergo anaesthesia to undergo a scrape and polish at the vets.

This product is fantastic and I been amazed at the difference after just one use. Might try to add pictures later. However I was charged £45 customs. Customer services were very good when I was going to return the product for that reason.

No noticeable difference after using daily for several weeks. Third time I tried to recharge it, it failed to charge at all - no light, nothing, zilch, nada. Tried changing the brush head and still no light so presumably not charging. Expensive waste of money.

I am so pleased with this toothbrush, all of my 8 dogs lets me use it on their teeth no problem at all. I have 4 15 month old pups and it is great for preventing any build up on their teeth. My 4 older dogs have some plaque on their teeth, but I can really see the difference after having used the brush for the last month. No more paying out for dentals at the vets.
