The chiller is composed of 3 chambers, 2 of which will be filled with water that will be frozen and shouldn't leak. The final chamber is the one which you fill with your preferred beverage. It is not supposed to be used as a flask and will leak if you tip it upside down as there is no way to seal it up so you will have to be careful when swirling the beverage as it asks you to do in the instructions.

Q: Can I use this with a tassimo coffee brewer?

I would recommend brewing the coffee in a separate cup then pour into this

Q: Will it still be effective if you have to lay it down in a freezer compartment?

You will need it standing up whilst it freezes for the first time and after that it would be ok to be laid down. Mine is lying down and had no problems.

Q: Can you lay it on it’s side in the freezer without it spilling?

you can put it in the freezer as a water cup if you have poured the water in it,if not ,the inside water may drip out from the small breathing holes,the chiller will have better chilling performance in this way,ice around the cup symmetrically if it has been frozen ,you can put it any styles
