Works as described. No leaks! Easy to install.
I tried 3 or 4 different option from different suppliers and this is the one to get! I had some kind of issues with the others I tried. This one connects to the 3/8 cold water line under your sink and allows you to connect the 3/8 cold water line to the facet while at the same time connecting the push connect water line to your RO system with a shut off valve. Super easy and no leaks! Great durability! Wish I had found this one first. Great product! Don't hesitate, buy this one!

Finally. This is what should come with RO water kits.
I don't know why you're looking at this tee valve, but if you're like me - it's because your $400 RO kit came with some garbage fitting that leaked like a sieve in the middle of the night, leaving you with water damage and a huge headache in the morning. Better still, like an idiot I assumed I was at fault and reinstalled the tee after finding no obvious defects. Four hours later, I heard the drips. Something in the valve was leaking after a period of time, but after long enough just to trick you into believing it's okay. I hunted for HOURS in the local hardware store and online to find the right fitting. FINALLY I found this beauty. Well built, and extremely well engineered - it took me 10 minutes to install and has worked flawlessly. The metal section freely rotates along internal seals, so you don't need to worry about clearance for the valve during installation. The metal threads are properly machined, able to cinch down properly without fear of stripping some chinesium, and the push fitting gives that satisfying quality feel when the tube locks in place. I am *thrilled* with this part, and highly recommend it over anythign else you'll find. In a world full of headaches in unreliable garbage - this fitting is a bargain at twice the price.

Perfect for 3/8 in tubing for watee filter system
Works great. This tee valve is hard to find. I installed a single stage water filter under my sink. It was very easy to install and no leaks.

If you're installing any water line product under your sink, get this valve.
I ordered this valve to replace the the plastic T adapter that came with a water filter system 3M Aqua-Pure Under Sink Water Filtration System - Model AP-DWS1000 . This is excerpted and modified from my review of that system. This John Guest Speedfit valve worked like a charm. It has metal fittings, so it threads properly - that was key to the whole project. It has a nice shutoff valve, so you can shut this off separately from your sink water. I have those typical chrome handle valves that once turned, they never seat again, so it will be nice to leave it alone to change the filters. As a huge bonus, the center white part also swivels independently of the fittings, so it doesn't have to "end up" where you need it. Thread both ends snugly, and then spin the valve to point the tubing where you want.I had a hard time making sure this would be the right one, because I was searching for a T or Tee like they provided with the water filter, but this is an "adapter valve", not just a T. It's 3/8 inch and attached to the end of the valve coming out of the wall; the adapter that came with the system went up on the faucet end. Some of these JG adapters come with a thread size converter (this one didn't), so you can get those if you're not sure. Basically, all this water filter / coffee maker / ice maker stuff is 1/4 line, John Guest brand. Your sink fittings are generally either 3/8" or 1/2" on various ends. I figured it out from the braided line between the valve and the sink faucet.Held my breath, turned on the sink water... no drips. Installed the tubing, turned this blue valve handle, water filled... and no drips!

Wow! Do yourself a favor and purchase one of these!
This is the first time I've actually reviewed an item without being asked to. If you are putting in a new under sink water filtration system (or replacing an old one as I did) you owe it to yourself to purchase one of these adapters. My plumbing is 1/2 inch and it seems all of the filtration systems come with 3/8 fittings. (And the fittings that come with these systems are plastic!) So an adapter is necessary. This one is very high quality, came with the extra piece so that both ends could be for 1/2 inch fittings, and was very easy to install. Tightened it up and no leaks. It is especially helpful that it has it's own shut off valve for the plastic tubing line to the filter. This product is just excellent.

Why something like this wasn't included vs the cheap plastic "T" is ...
If you have a water drinking water filter system and it came with a cheap, plastic "T" in order to supply the water and you can't get it to seal properly this is the answer! When I first got our Whirlpool filter system I had to put the bulkhead below the shut off valve as it was the only way I could get it to not leak. Last week I installed a new sink and redid some of the plumbing and attempting to get the "T" above the shut off value which resulted in it leaking. I then tried it back in the original location and could not get it to stop leaking so I left the water filter disconnected. I found this fitting and used it on the output of the shutoff valve (less than a minute to install) and it works perfectly with no leaks, also with the ability to just shut off the water filter. Why something like this wasn't included vs the cheap plastic "T" is beyond me, the system wasn't cheap to begin with and I would have rather paid a few bucks more and avoided the leaks and headache.
