An emotional, charming Christmas romance and the beginning of the Haven Point series
If you’ve read the connecting series Hope’s Crossing then you’ve run into Aiden before, or are at least aware of who he is and his family. This multi-millionaire geek genius has recently purchased property In Haven Point mainly as a refuge for Snow Angel Cove is a lodge big enough to fit his entire family and beautiful enough to ease his mind when he needs beauty and solitude. He also, inadvertently, bought up half the property in this small town which makes him a rather absent landlord to some folks – and he’s not getting the warmest welcome from the people in town. Truth be told he made the purchase from a friend as a favor, and perhaps wasn’t in the best frame of mind when he did that favor… now he’s going to understand why Ben wanted to get rid of it so quickly.Eliza and her daughter, Maddie, have arrived in Haven Point looking for a fresh start only to discover that the hotel Eliza was to manage has just hours earlier had an intense, almost totally devastating fire… and there is not only no room at the inn, but no job as well. To add insult to injury, Eliza watched in horror as a car hit a patch of ice and was sliding out of control toward her daughter in a crosswalk. She did what a mother does, ran and pushed Maddie out of harm’s way, only to be struck herself. She wasn’t badly hurt, but she does come face to face with a man she’d hated from a distance for a very long time… and he was the only way she could stay out of the hospital. Trusting Aiden was impossible, but for her daughter’s sake, Eliza would trust the devil …temporarily. As the beginning of a new series, Snow Angel Cove hit all the right notes for me with enough backstory to make the tensions and attitudes in this small town believable, yet with enough hope for resolution to want to hang around to see how things turn out. As a Christmas romance, this one lit up the Christmas tree in lovely scenes, decorations, the madness of a large family, and the closeness of a precious child. Eliza and Aiden’s romance was a slow build, a slow burn. They each held secrets – important secrets that will get in the way of how they react to each other, and how their feelings become a bit complicated because of what they believe is truth. The animosity of most of the townsfolk toward Aiden is also a slow building wave as we slowly get to understand why.I liked this couple, and it was an adventure to watch them overcome obstacles, win each other over and finally tell secrets that needed to be let out in the open for many reasons. It did take me a few chapters before I honestly warmed up to Eliza, her hatred for Aiden seemed so unreasonable without any explanation – just a hate on sight. It took me a bit to reconcile her attitude with what had happened to her through no fault of Aiden at all. I believe it will be enjoyable and exciting to see what Haven Point develops into with Aiden and Eliza as masterminds.Looking for a good romance, an enjoyable Christmas romance or even a new series to dig your reading teeth into? Then Snow Angel Cove is a perfect combination of all of those. I had fun with this one and it left me wanting more… and that is what I look for in a series. Indulge yourself and enjoy.I own a Kindle edition of this story.

.Cute Christmas Love Story
I thought this would be too mushy but it’s actually a very good story if you can stand a happy ending. The characters are very good and realistic. Elisa is almost too perfect as the mother of a five year old girl. But it’s well written and worth your time.

Great read
Snow Angel Cove is by RaeAnne Thayne. Although it is not in the Hope’s Crossing series, it does include one of the Caines, Aiden. The others make an appearance towards the end. The characters are well developed and realistic. The plot is straightforward for a while, and then the twists occur. It is an excellent book that caught me in its spell and I had to stay up late to finish it.Eliza Hayward wants to reach Haven Point before the storm hits. She is headed for Lake Haven Inn where she has taken a job as manager. Being the manager of a hotel is her dream. She has her 5 year old daughter, Maddie, with her. A change was needed after the death three years ago of her husband Trent. As she enters town, she finds the Inn has burned to the ground. Now she is without a job, a place to stay, and ideas. All she wants it to find a place to spend the night, get something for Maddie to eat, and get some sleep. As she and Maddie cross the street, Maddie takes off running and a SUV is coming out of control down the icy hill. She sprints to get Maddie out of the way but is struck by the truck.Aiden Caine is the founder and CEO of Caine Tech which is a company that is doing quite well. He has a house in California; but wants a vacation home. To this end, he came to Haven Point and found Snow Angel Cove. The house was pretty well rundown; but sound. He brought Sue and Jim out of retirement to get the house in order and get his horses here. Over the months, they have done wonders with the house; but it wasn’t quite complete and Sue had her hands full. His entire family of 20 is coming for Christmas. He wanted everything to be perfect. Could everything get done or did he need to hire someone to help? How can he do that without causing problems with Sue? This is thoughts of Aiden as he heads into Haven Point in the snow. As he drives down the hill, he hits a patch of black ice and loses partial control of the SUV. He frantically tries to stop it when he sees a woman and her child crossing the road. What happens to Eliza and Maddie? How can Aiden live with causing the death of anyone? Will Elliza be able to find a job in Haven Point or have to go back to Boise?

A Sweet and Wholesome Christmas Romance
Snow Angel Cove is the first book I’ve read from RaeAnne Thayne and I’m not disappointed! Well, maybe a little disappointed that it took me this long to read one of her uplifting novels, but at least I got to it! One of the main reasons I chose this one to start with is because it’s a CHRISTMAS ROMANCE. I’m all about holiday romances this year and am reading a myriad of them from all different authors. Seeing as I’ve been wanting to try out the authors work, I thought this would be the perfect book to start with and I wasn’t wrong. This is a sweet, charming, and uplifting read. It takes place during Christmas and shows that love can come your way despite all the things that are blocking its path.Aiden is a tech genius who always seems to be on the go. Wanting a peaceful Christmas, he decides to head to his home in Sow Angel Cove where his family will eventually come to enjoy the holidays. However, an accident changes everything for Aiden including his future…Single mom Eliza Hayward has hit a rough patch in her life after her husband’s untimely death and moving to Haven Point for a fresh start is exactly what she and her daughter need. But after losing her job (before it even started) and being hit by a car, things look like they aren’t going to be as good as she hoped. Until a gorgeous tech genius swoops in and changes everything for her. Will these two be able to overcome their pasts in order to have a brighter future.

Cosy Xmas romantic read
With a lovely Xmas setting in Idaho set in the Redemption Hills this lake side provides the perfect backdrop for a Xmas romance.Tech bill millionaire Aidan Caine buys a lodge and after an accident asks Eliza a widow with a young child to help decorate his large home for his big family coming for Xmas. It’s a cute, cosy read - Aidan is hiding a secret and Eliza doesn’t want to reveal how his tech company was linked to her life previously.I loved the Xmas vibe, the small town cosy feel and his big family - although I would have liked to have spent more time getting to know them.A good romance with a lovely feel to it although I did feel it ended more abruptly than I would have liked.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cosy romance in the snow!
I really enjoyed this book, and it held my attention from the start (which isn't something which happens a lot!). I would describe it as a gentle, cosy Christmassy romance. Recommended!
