Sciencent Tuning Fork Set of 8 w/ Wooden Case

The tuning forks themselves are the only thing that is even close to as pictured.The description of the product "Tuning forks set of 8 with hammer and premium velvet casing/keeper. Includes one each of C-256 Hz, D-288 Hz, E-320 Hz, F-341.3 Hz, G-384 Hz, A-426.6 Hz, B-480 Hz, and C-512 Hz" was w lie.The "case" was cardboard with Styrofoam inserts only not the premium velvet case as described.I would return the product if it would not cost me more to return it than I paid for it.

The set is complete and the tuning forks work fine for my purposes (teaching about waves and sound).I was disappointed that the tuning forks arrived rusted and the box’s inside cloth and outer covering were already peeling away.

I am not a serious musician, I bought this for a summer camp I was running for elementary students on acoustic engineering. It worked really well for our purposes, the kids had a great time exploring sound and learned a lot. I didn't look too deeply into the accuracy of each pitch, do I can't help if that's what you're looking for.

Honestly is not what I thought it was. They are very small. Some of them are rusted and the wooden box covered seems like humidity took over. I did not return it because the price i paid for. Now i know better. Thank you

what I received came in a cardboard box with the cheapest foam possible and the forks are two pieces of soldered tin. no tone these are crap they arent even good for being fishing weights. DO NOT BUY.....

Did not come with a box as described. They worked well for my science experiment, but were not worth the money without a box.

Quality is very low. Tuning forks do not stay well placed in the case.

There was no 'velvet lined box' and two different pairs of tuning forks (e and f, g and a) were the exact same pitch! Not pleased with this and wish I had read reviews before purchasing. I'll get a new set from a music store.

This set is fine for me to use in a science lesson ... But contained 2 of some notes and none of others ... So not suitable for musicians ... No case ...just a cardboard box that they arrived in ... Again,not a problem for me ... As I will use them with young children and a nice case (as shown in the photo) would inevitably get damaged ... Reasonable value for money, Thank you.

Perfect for what I needed them for. However it would be good if they were labelled with the key notes as they alllookvery similar in size. Nice case for keeping them in. Good value.

I Diapason hanno un bel suono, ma non è quello dichiarato sulle forchette, bisogna avere tempo e pazienza per "ricatalogarli" con le giuste frequenze. Almeno sono più o meno tutte in accordatura naturale. Il problema si è ripresentato nonostante abbia fatto un reso e abbia successivamente riacquistato il prodotto. Avrei messo massimo due stelle, dal momento che l'atricolo non corrisponde a quanto dichiarato, ma a onor del vero il venditore si è dimostrato molto disponibile, quindi stavolta ne metto 3.

Per il mio scopo, far divertire con i suoni uma bimba di un paio d'anni, è stato un buon acquisto.Un paio di test hanno però evidenziato la non perfetta corrispondenza fra diapason e frequenza collegata.Ripugnante la scatola per trasporto/archiviazione.

Non sono uno specialista, mi sembra che vada tutto bene. Il suono è la vibrazione. Mi dispiace solo aver trovato il "martelletto" per far vibrare il diapason, quel tipo li, fatto in quel modo.
