At what point do we measure around the chest, right behind the front legs or further down? And how snug do you make the measurements?

The measurement is done around your cat's chest, right behind the front legs. You want your cat's harness to be snug and fitted so they can't get out of it. When you take the measurement, make sure you're getting close and up against your cat - down past all the floof!

Here is the measurement guide for the Reflective Cat Harness and Leash:

Extra small: 10-14 inches or 25-35 centimeters
Small: 14-16 inches or 35-40 centimeters
Medium: 16-18 inches or 40-46 centimeters
Large: 18-20 inches or 46-50 centimeters

If you're between sizes, go for the bigger size if your cat is still growing, or the smaller size if you think they are fully grown.

How does it get put on? I cannot put one over my cat's head.

You put the front legs in and it velcro's in the back .  I find it very easy to put on my cat, also you can tighten or loosen the neck .
