Gro-Clock Sleep Trainer

Great item. Works with the simple plug adapter. I'm from the UK so I am used to using U.K. Products in the US, & this works better than any I have had in the past.Quite bright but that can be fixed by placing in the floor or what I eventually did was bought adherable tinted opaque plastic and applied it to the face. That's just because I am still in the same room as my toddler though (almost transitioned out!).Perfect sleep training clock. My son (2) loves it & understands what it is after just a couple of days.

my kids used to wake up way to early. when I got this, they knew to close their eyes and go back to sleep till the sun came on. Once they got a bit older, they started to cheat and push the button to wake up the sun, but for 3-4 year old kids works great

Awesome sleep clock! You do have to buy an adapter if using in USA, but that will only put you back like $6 and this clock is well worth it! Setting the time is a little tricky. I couldn't figure it out until I finally broke down and read the directions. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. The book that comes with the clock is perfect. My 3 year old relates to the pig and it has helped our discussions about staying in bed- which is improving! Before this clock we tried the matching numbers on a normal clock trick and the lighted belly hedgehog. Both unsuccessful. He loves his hedgehog and its night night song and wake up song; but it sucks through batteries and often stops working in the middle of the night which is frustrating for everyone. This clock is much more consistent. I love how the stars count down too!

My son is still too young to fully comprehend what it's for but we like to say goodnight to the sun and hello to the stars

I like the concept of blue stars for night and sun for day.Many reviews mentioned hard to program. It did not come with any directions on how to program it- I found some online but only after digging a bit. Directions make it much easier to program!With directions figured out I like that you can change the brightness and that there is a child lock. While the 2 settings for day nap abs nighttime sleep are handy for some it’s not something we needed.I don’t like that ours will go into a…standby mode with no sun or star and just a blue screen showing the time. I do not know exactly how or why it does that- it’s connected to an outlet so it’s not like it will drain a battery. If it needs to enter standby mode during day time hours it makes more sense to have the yellow (daytime) background to me as it is still wake up time.We will keep using it, I’m not sure how much it will help keep my son in his bed but it can’t hurt.

Easy to use, keeps time well, provides the right amount of night lighting. Doesn't necessarily make my child sleep longer, but easier for her to understand why we're not getting up to play at 5am. The story book that comes with it is very cute, too.

This clock is ok. I was really hoping for better actually. It's very hard to set and the directions are very tiny so forget reading them at bedtime after a long day when you are just trying to get a cranky kid to bed. My daughter, however, loves it. It was working for about a week or so. Then it just stopped. For 2 days now she has woken up to a black screen. So she gets up, walks around, makes noise and then that wakes our puppy who jumps up barking and freaking out and soon the entire house is wide awake. Meanwhile it's 3 am.Updated- don't bother with this clock. It's pointless. I'm in my second one and it goes black at some point in the night so my daughter has no idea when she is allowed to get up. Which means she is in my room at 5 am. Total waste of money. Don't. Bother.
